Sally Parson Interiors Sally Parson Interiors provides Interior Design, Interior Colour consultations & Space planning

I have always been passionate about Interior design, colour, and how to create spaces that work for you. Having studied Art and History of Art at A-level, followed by a BA Hons Degree in Furniture and Product Design, my creative background lead me into a career of Space Planning in a variety of companies including Ikea and ITV. Fast forward, and 3 children later, having spent more time at home as

a mum, I have seen first-hand how an organised, well maintained home and suitable colours for the mood of the room, has huge benefits mentally and physically to the people that live there. I love Biophilic Design and bringing nature into your home through colour, materials and textures. I also love sourcing and reusing old furniture which adds to the character to the room. My previous 10 year career in Space Planning and my Professional Decluttering and Organising Business Diploma has given me experience, knowledge and skills to help, support, and advise you to create the dream space within your home. I will find functional and stylish solutions to make your space work for you. From one room to a whole house, I can help you transform your dreams into reality, helping you find your own style and the best use of space within your home. From colour consultancy, to kitchen and bathroom design to whole house refurbishments and extensions, I take a friendly and flexible approach to problem solving, resulting in a hassle-free and enjoyable customer experience. Maybe you need help visualising the best layout in a new building project in your home or you need some advise on how to space plan an existing area of your home. Or maybe you are questioning yourself "what colour should I paint my room?" and have an endless supply of paint samples but still no idea on which one you want to use.

Its amazing how much colour changes how it looks in varying lighting conditions. A little reminder to always try a sample first, as different colours will look different in different rooms.

Or book me to come and do a colour consultation in your space, where we can see which colours work best. I bring all my paint samples to you and leave you with the ones you need.

On the subject of colour, art is a great way to bring colour into your home. Choose peices that you are drawn to - Whether it's memories of places you've travelled or you are simply drawn to colours or emotions felt through the image.

It's this that can add uniqueness to your space and make the room feel like you.

A very long one from me but hopefully answers why I only offer in-person Interior Colour Consultations. Colour reacts so much to light and without being there in person, I wouldn't want to suggest a colour without seeing it. Sometimes blues look grey or greens even look like blue, whites look yellow or grey.. you get the picture..

So if you are local to Berkshire or Buckinghamshire or around 1 hour travel from Maidenhead, I'd love to hear from you and help you with colour in your home. 🎨

I'm back from a road trip in the Scenic South West America and have been fully immersed in the warm desert neutrals, sunburnt earth, and skies so blue they almost don’t feel real.

Walking through Antelope Canyon was amazing - the layers of sandstone reds, oranges, yellows - i wish I had a paint chart with me to map it all!

It’s a reminder that the most beautiful colour schemes aren’t created — they’re observed.

If you’re drawn to warm, grounded interiors, this palette works effortlessly at home:
– build your base with soft sandy neutrals
– layer in clay and rust for depth
– add contrast with sky blues or sage greens

Save this as your desert-inspired colour guide 🤍

I love creating sample boards inspired by the concept board. You can really see how the colours, textures and surfaces come together creating a cohesive scheme, inspired by the client's own story. No copying from pictures.. just pure design, creativity and client inspiration.

First step in a project is the concept board. A place to collect all the ideas taken from the brief and create a 'look' of what the client is after. This way the space can develop with greater meaning to their personal story rather than looking through Pinterest and copying other people's styles.
