We started this page in 2018 though we had been in the field a lot longer before that. The page came about when asked by listeners while we were on a radio show if we had a page they could follow or view so we set up this page along with instagram .The name The Spooky Sisters came about as an off the cuff comment by both Jeanettes mother in law calling us "the spooky two" and often being called"
The spooky sisters" by a good friend Stephen who runs Supernatural Events.Blackpool .The name fitted and it was adopted from there .The "UK" on the end of our name is so we dont get mixed up with anyone with a similar name who started up afterwards . We are Jeanette and Pamela Whalley , two sisters ,investigators ,explorers and researchers from Lancashire UK . I guess our interest in the paranormal started at an early age .We grew up in a house where we experienced a few strange happenings .A happy home and a good childhood -we shared a room and at different times both separately experienced a paranormal event a dark black hooded faceless figure actually hovering over us then casting a net which tangled us, causing us to retreat under the blanket until light fell .We never really told each other of this until we were a little older .A friend experienced this too when she stayed and it was only when she mentioned it we realised we had all experienced it at different times .Various other unexplained things happened in the home too . Growing up our interest grew and we loved anything spooky ,we used to ask for the comics with paranormal in them such as Misty comic and annual etc. It was only in later years we got to follow our interest and passion even further when we were invited in 2014 to join GhostFollowers by a small group of three good and trusted friends who had various beliefs and experience within the paranormal ,then set up GhostFollowers .We hosted for a few years and enjoyed this and seeing clients get a taste of investigating for themselves. Though we no longer do public events we do like the time to investigate many places alone as the GF team , sometimes alongside Supernatural Events with Stephen or often alone as us two sisters gathering any evidence along the way .We have investigated some wonderful locations over the UK,also so far Ireland and Italy and have plans to go further afield in time . We dont scare easily .We never run or scream if we do experience things ,we tend to go toward it although always very aware and guarded that darker entities may be waiting to gain access and take much care along with respect in our invests ..after all those passed on were once living breathing people like you and I .Though we do believe elementals exist also . We work very well together being very close and although we are not psychics and dont have medium ability we do consider ourselves "sensitives" .We pick up on energies a lot and also often experience each others pain or worries even living 40 miles apart . We trust each others instincts implicitly which is very important on an invest and always go with what the other "feels" if in a situation if something is not right .We do not believe every noise ,draught or experience is paranormal and always endeavour to debunk or reconstruct before believing it is paranormal .In our times investigating we have a small handful of strange and incredible happenings that truly cannot be debunked and a much broader section that can . We are not here for "likes and follows" but simply to enjoy our journey share our experiences and quests and very much our fun times with you lovely like minded folk . We do have much fun along the way as we say always with respect but sometimes using humour to light up on our journey . We believe there is always something to learn constantly along the way in our quest and thirst for answers
