On this Staircase Renovation, we had to install 4x newel posts centrally over the stringer, cutting the middle 2 around the wall edge to keep the vertical alignment to fasten the oak handrails. Then we added oak newel caps and a matching wall fixed oak handrail between the top and bottom sections to finish this off.
We installed 10mm clear toughened safety glass panels into brushed stainless steel clamp brackets to match the wall hanger brackets and rail end caps.
