Start with the obvious: natural light is easier on the eyes than almost any artificial setup. Screens read better when the ambient light is even, headaches drop off, and nobody spends the afternoon squinting. Under fluorescent-only light, the opposite happens — the 3pm slump that gets blamed on lunch is often just bad lighting.

Daylight also anchors the body clock. Working under real light through the morning and early afternoon keeps energy steadier and sleep better, which shows up as sharper attention and fewer mistakes.
