A historic building, some great stories, good b**r and even better conversations.

That pretty much sums up our latest Carrot Club meet-up at Ebenezer’s in Nantwich.

We had the pleasure of hearing from Nick, who took us through the history of the building, the businesses that have come and gone over the years, and how the artwork around Ebenezer’s pays homage to that history, right through to how 1857 came about.

Nick also shared his amazing knowledge of craft b**r and recommended some great b**rs for us to try. A few of us sat down with a tasty drink and enjoyed a good chat along the way.

We were also joined by Mark Spence, founder of ChangingMen, who gave us a really interesting guest talk about the work he does helping us stubborn men realise that it really is good to talk.

Mark, you’re a top man. It was great chatting with you and hearing more about the work you’re doing.

A lovely afternoon of stories, good conversations, good people and a few good b**rs.

Now we’re looking forward to our next Carrot Club meet-up in Congleton.

If you’d like to be part of the next one, head over to Spiky Carrot and take a look under Carrot Club for more details.

Sunday evening from Piper…

She’s already looking forward to Wednesday’s Carrot Club meet-up at Ebenezer’s in Nantwich.

We’ve still got a few spaces left if you fancy joining us.

There’ll be a tasty drink included, and I can highly recommend the craft b**r at Ebenezer’s. They’ve also got some really good non-alcoholic options too.

Plus, we’ve got the lovely Mark Spence from Changing Men joining us for a guest talk.

Wednesday, 3:30pm. Come along, grab a drink and meet some great local business owners.

Piper says it’d be rude not to.

Weeee, what a week!

A little update from me. The patch is growing, more independent businesses are getting involved, and it’s brilliant seeing it all start to come together.

The patch is growing. And I’m loving it 🥕
