Devastating, enraging, sickeningly predictable. Sending love and solidarity to those that knew and loved Jason.
The scale of coverage and gleeful dissection of Jason Arday's career was unmistakably racist and grossly disproportionate.
We've seen it time and time again; pedestals being constructed and then destroyed with no concern for the human that was placed upon them. No one will be held accountable, it will happen again. We must recognise it, call it out and resist adding to the noise. Shame on every paper that used this man for front page fodder.
