Thank you to everyone who has supported this family so far. Your kindness is helping them hold on during an incredibly difficult and unfair journey.

Dennis and his family are urgently trying to raise the £4,437 needed for his visa renewal so he can legally remain with his wife, stepdaughter, and their animals in Wigan. Without this support, everything they have built together is at risk.

Their situation is not the result of poor planning — it is the result of serious failures by the Home Office.

When Dennis first applied for his visa, the Home Office wrongly treated his application as an asylum claim, even though he never applied for asylum. This mistake forced him into a year‑long tribunal, fighting to correct an error that should never have happened. That year drained their finances, stability, and emotional strength.

On top of this, Dennis is a 100% permanently disabled U.S. Veteran, yet he is currently facing ongoing health issues that the NHS has not been treating. Since the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, many cross‑border healthcare agreements and specialist pathways have changed or disappeared, leaving people like Dennis caught in the gaps. He has been left without the medical support he urgently needs, adding even more pressure to an already fragile situation.

A 100% permanently disabled U.S. Veteran living in the United Kingdom is urgently seeking support to renew a UK Family Visa. This individual served in joint operations alongside the UK Armed Forces and now lives in the UK on a military pension. Their entire family is here: a British wife, a British stepdaughter with disabilities, and the animals that complete their home.

The cost of renewing the visa is £4,437. Despite careful budgeting and covering as much as possible, a recent loan rejection has left a shortfall that cannot be met alone.

This situation is made even harder by what happened during the original visa application. ECHOES OF GRACE – A WARNING AGAINST FALSE PROPHETS AND WORKS‑BASED DECEPTION

In these days, many voices are twisting Scripture to push believers into fear, performance, and works‑based salvation. Two passages are commonly abused: Matthew 7 and Hebrews 10. Both are being used to claim that “works are required to enter Heaven” or that a believer can lose salvation if they do not perform well enough. This is not what Scripture teaches.

Matthew 7 is not about earning salvation. It is about identifying false prophets and false disciples by their fruit. Yeshua describes people who prophesy, cast out demons, and perform miracles, yet He rejects them. These individuals had impressive works, but no relationship with Him. If works were the requirement for entering the Kingdom, these people would be accepted. Instead, Yeshua says He never knew them. Their works were real. Their relationship was not. This proves that works cannot save anyone. Fruit is evidence of salvation, not the price of salvation.

Hebrews 10 is also misused by those who preach fear. The warning in Hebrews 10 is not about a believer losing salvation because they failed to perform enough good works. The context is clear: it warns against rejecting the sacrifice of Yeshua and returning to the old system of animal offerings. It is a warning to those who hear the Gospel but choose to reject it and go back to relying on their own efforts. It is not a warning to believers who struggle, grow, or fall short. The entire chapter points to the once‑for‑all sacrifice of Messiah and the confidence we have to enter the Most Holy Place by His blood. The warning is against abandoning that truth, not against imperfect Christians.

Echoes of Grace stands firmly on the Gospel: salvation is by grace through faith in Yeshua alone. Any teaching that adds human effort as a requirement for salvation is a false gospel. Any voice that uses Matthew 7 or Hebrews 10 to pressure believers into fear, performance, or self‑reliance is twisting Scripture. Works do not save. Works do not keep you saved. Works do not qualify you for Heaven. The blood of Yeshua does.

We must guard our hearts, test every teaching, and stay anchored in the truth of Scripture. Do not be intimidated by those who boast in their works or use fear to control others. Do not be swayed by those who twist Matthew 7 or Hebrews 10 into a works‑based message. Yeshua rejected the most “impressive” workers because they lacked relationship. Hebrews warns against rejecting His sacrifice, not against failing to perform enough good deeds.

Know Him. Trust His finished work. Let your fruit come from Him. And do not fall victim to those who preach a gospel He never taught.

Galatians 3 exposes one of the biggest traps in the Christian walk: trying to finish by effort what God began by grace.

Paul asks a question that cuts right through every illusion of self‑righteousness:

“Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by believing what you heard?”

That’s the whole message.

You didn’t begin this journey by your own strength.

You didn’t receive the Spirit because you were flawless.

You didn’t become God’s child through performance.

And you won’t continue by performance either.

Everything God gives comes by promise — not pressure.

Abraham wasn’t blessed because he got everything right.

He was blessed because he believed God.

And in Christ, you are an heir of that same promise.

Not an heir of effort.

Not an heir of perfection.

An heir of promise.

• You’re not trying to earn God’s favour — you already have it.
• You’re not trying to qualify — you’re already adopted.
