As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you.

Whether we’ve worked closely together, collaborated behind the scenes, or simply connected along the way, your trust, support and belief in EVA has meant more than I can put into words.

This year has been one of growth, learning and momentum. Alongside an incredible team of talented Executive Assistants, we’ve helped founders and teams reclaim time, create clarity, and bring calm to busy working lives. From inboxes and diaries, to travel, running your marketing or social media campaign, events and everything else in between. Every task, big or small, has been handled with care and purpose.

Personally, the highlight for me was taking home the Innovative Thinker Award at The National PA Awards in Manchester, the place I have called home for the last 5 years. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way with this and to my dear friends who had enough faith in me to bring confetti cannons in their handbags to set off as my name was called 🎊

What I’m most proud of isn’t just what we’ve achieved, but how we’ve achieved it, with kindness, flexibility and genuine partnership. The work we do only matters because of the people we support, and we’re incredibly grateful for the relationships we’ve built this year.

As we head into the festive season, I hope you’re able to step away, switch off (even just a little!), and enjoy some well-earned rest with the people who matter most to you.

Thank you for being part of EVA’s journey this year. I’m excited for what’s to come in the New Year and look forward to continuing to support you in 2026.

Wishing you a restful, joyful Christmas and a bright start to the New Year ✨

Most founders don’t realise their schedule is their biggest hidden asset. Here’s my 5-step process to unlock it.

I’ve spent years helping people turn chaos into calm, especially during rapid growth. The calendar is often the secret weapon that’s hiding in plain sight.

Most see it as a list of meetings and calls. I see it as a tool for focus, strategy, and real progress.

Here’s the process I use to transform a cluttered schedule into a system that works for you - not against you:

Step 1: Identify time drains
Look through your calendar and spot the tasks that eat up hours but add little value. These are the first things to change or delegate.

Step 2: Color-code priorities
Give each type of task a color. Urgent gets one shade (usually red for me), important another, and low-priority something simple. I also find colour coding travel and personal items effective. This makes it easy to see what matters most at a glance.

Step 3: Create recurring focus blocks
Block out regular time for focus and specific tasks and protect these slots as you would a key meeting. No distractions, just space for big ideas.

Step 4: Integrate tech tools
Use technology to automate the small stuff. Calendar apps, reminders, scheduling software - these keep things running smoothly and free up time for bigger goals.

Step 5: Review and adjust regularly
Check in each week. See what’s working, what’s not, and make changes. The best systems grow with you.

I’ve seen these steps help founders reclaim hours, reduce stress, and focus on what moves the business forward.

If your calendar feels more like a trap than a tool, maybe it’s time for a reset.

I've been shortlisted for the National PA Awards 2025 in the Innovative Thinker category! 🎉

This one means a lot. When I launched EVA just over 8 months ago, I had no idea how much the business would grow or how much I would grow with it.
To now be recognised in this category at the National PA Awards (pinch me) feels incredibly special. I’ve always strived to do things differently and strive to offer support that’s as strategic as it is practical.

I’m so proud to stand alongside a community of brilliant assistants, and to have my work acknowledged in this way is a huge moment for me.

For now, I’m just soaking up the excitement and feeling so grateful for the nominations, kind words, and support along the way.

Thanks to all the incredible founders and teams I’ve had the privilege of working with to date and here’s to doing things differently 💛

If anyone is looking for a meeting space in Manchester or a private dining option then take a look, I will definitley be coming back.

This week, I have been living the remote worker's dream! ☀️ 💻

I’ve had the pleasure of supporting Simon Davies and his first cohort of Graduates from the Aucta Accelerator Programme here in Dubai. Congratulations to everyone for all of your hard work over the last 12 weeks and coming together here to this beautiful city full of opportunity.

I kicked things off in the heart of the Business Bay for the Graduation event, followed by an unforgettable day sailing around the Palm on a yacht - not your average work week! 🌴🚤
I’m now based in the Marina, working remotely and beginning to unwind after a hectic few days.

It’s been a perfect blend of business, networking, and soaking up everything Dubai has to offer. This city is full of energy, opportunities, and inspiring people and I’m already looking forward to the next trip back.

Running your own business isn’t all drinks receptions and yacht trips, but experiences like this are a great reminder of why I do what I do. I’ve met some brilliant people, made valuable connections, and will also be taking a little time to recharge (laptop never too far away, of course!).

And if you're a freelance Executive Assistant and want to chat about opportunities, I’d love to hear from you! 🙌

Last week my fabulous client CTO Academy hosted a London meet up with a twist.
We had a Tech Leaders Question Time with such an interesting panel where conversations continued late in the evening over a drink or two.
It was great to be part of this event, the first in a series for this year. Next stop…. Paris 🇫🇷

Today, we honor the incredible achievements of women worldwide 🌍 past, present, and future. It’s a day to celebrate progress, challenge inequality, and uplift one another. ⚖️💪✨

I want to take a moment to appreciate all the amazing women I have had the privilege of working with - those who have inspired me, supported me, and mentored me along the way. Setting up a business is no small feat, and I’m beyond grateful for the strong, brilliant women who have been there to share their wisdom, encouragement, and kindness. 👩‍💻🤝🌟

To every woman I’ve worked with, collaborated with, or learned from - thank you. Your impact is immeasurable, and today, we celebrate you! 🎉👏❤️
