Business Birdies Session 3 is just around the corner!

It’s hard to believe we are already approaching our third session, This group is proving to be incredibly successful, bringing together a brilliant community of local professional women to learn golf and grow their networks in a completely judgment-free space.

We have a few select places left for our upcoming June meetup! Whether you’ve been to every session or you’re thinking about joining the flock for the very first time, we would love to see you on the green. Total beginners are always welcome, and clubs are provided!

📍 Location: Norwood Park Golf Centre
💸 Cost: £14 (Payable directly to the Golf Pro on the day)

It's International Golf Day !!!!

WANTED: 7 Golfers to Join Me for the 2026 Three Bunkers Challenge!

Hi everyone! Lisa Todd here. John Eastwood Hospice have been invited to enter two teams into the 6th annual Three Bunkers Challenge on Friday, 22nd May 2026

I am looking for 7 keen golfers to join me in representing Hospice for this unique, fast-paced day on the greens!

We will be playing 27 holes over 3 different courses across the East Midlands in a single day, it’s a bit like the ‘Three Peaks Challenge’ but for golfers.

📍 6:30 AM: Meet at Morley Hayes (Derby) for PR photos, followed by a 7:00 AM tee-off from the 10th tee.
📍 9:30 AM: Travel to Charnwood Forest (Leicester) for complimentary bacon rolls and coffee.
📍 2:24 PM: Final nine holes at The Nottinghamshire, followed by a presentation and charity auction.

The Goal

Each team gets a dedicated GiveStar fundraising page to share with their network. We are aiming for each player to raise £375 (£1,500 per team). all funds raised by our teams go directly to support our work here at John Eastwood Hospice!

• The Format: Stableford (full handicap), scoring the two best scores on each hole.
• The Twist: Your score can be affected by how many bunkers you hit—it is the "Three Bunkers Challenge," after all!.
• The Cost: There is no entry fee as green fees are donated. You only need to cover your own lunch/drinks at The Nottinghamshire and travel.

The Fame: The event receives fantastic regional press coverage (like the Nottingham Post and Derby Telegraph) and plenty of social media buzz.
