Exciting Announcement
I am very pleased and excited to announce that after eleven years of runningSouthdowns Shepherds Huts I have sold the business.

During this time, I have established and expanded the business into a unique events company which offers luxury Shepherds Huts washrooms, and more recently, shower
huts.
Our USP is that we are one of the only businesses to offer freshwater flush huts.
From 17th July 2026 Southdowns Shepherds Huts Ltd will have a new owner, Harry Brookes. Harry is a young entrepreneur who already has a very successful plant hire business and is looking to expand his existing offering to include South Downs
Shepherds Hut over the coming years.
Harry and I have been working together since the start of 2026 season, which has been
helpful for him to understand how the business works, from the mechanical side of
things to client relations.
Some of you will have met him during site visits, or during
events we have already attended this year.
The business is not moving very far and will be based at Trotton in West Sussex. Harry will still offer the same five star level of service for weddings, parties and other
celebrations, together with corporate events across the South. I will be supporting him a short while to ensure a smooth transition for all our events and clients for the
remainder of 2026 and for the events already booked for 2027 and those yet to book.
Harry will now be the point of contact going forward.
I wish Harry every success with Southdown Shepherds Hut Ltd and look forward to
seeing the business expand and develop further.

The season is now in full swing with huts is Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire. The hut in Elsted for L & O’s wedding is a particularly stunning location with fantastic views north.

Setup for a wedding in Stockbridge with two of our freshwater flush Hampshire Huts (2+3) for 180 guests with Original Marquees who assisted with getting the huts into the right position. Looks like it will be fabulous day for the wedding.
