Meet Nigel Freeman, Head of Flight Operations at Airtask.

Nigel joined Airtask in July 2022 as Deputy Head of Flight Operations and has recently been accepted by the CAA as Nominated Person Flight Operations. Prior to joining Airtask, Nigel held several senior positions at Jota Aviation Ltd, including Chief Pilot, Nominated Person Flight Operations and Deputy Safety & Compliance Manager.

With extensive experience across all areas of flight operations, Nigel brings a depth of knowledge that is instrumental in supporting Airtask’s mission-led aviation capability.

In his current role, Nigel is responsible for the conduct and regulatory compliance of all fleet operations, with a particular focus on flight standards and safety management. His expertise plays a key role in ensuring Airtask continues to operate to the highest standards of safety, professionalism and compliance.
