CARA Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic, organised person to join our team!

This is a varied and rewarding Agricultural Consultant (or Graduate Consultant) role, providing essential support to clients during a busy period of regulatory change, grant deadlines, and the transition into new agricultural schemes such as the SFS. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development and progression within the agricultural consultancy sector.

What we’re looking for:
✨ Good attention to detail
✨ Confident with digital systems
✨ Friendly, professional and great with clients
🌱 Agricultural degree or equivalent experience and Welsh speaker preferred, but not essential.

* The max grant award is £15,000 and the minimum is £1,000
* Any previous participation in the Farm Business Grant or any previous rounds of the Small Grants - Efficiency scheme will not affect your ability to apply for the maximum £15,000 grant.
* Max 40% contribution towards capital investments in equipment and machinery (exc. VAT)
*Max 40% contribution against actual invoice cost, up to the max referenced costs as stated with Annex A.

A number of the CARA team had a fantastic day Thursday at the Society of Agriculture of Conference.

Two out of the three sessions were chaired by our own Wendy and Iwan, who did an excellent job leading insightful and engaging discussions throughout the day 👏

The programme featured a varied and informative lineup, with contributions from Welsh Government, HSBC, alongside expert sessions on pensions and investments, employment law, and the growing role of AI in agriculture — offering valuable insight across the sector.

We were also very proud to see our clients, The Old Farmhouse Brewery, sharing their inspiring diversification journey. Hearing about their fantastic achievements and well-deserved awards was a real highlight of the day.

A big thank you to everyone involved for making it such a positive and worthwhile event!
