We have a WINNER! 🐲🎉🥳

Thank You Everyone for all your entries to Design a Cupcake Topper for Newark Dragon Boat Festival 2026.

We had so many to choose from and was a tough call but this one from Georgia just popped with us.

We just loved the dragon and the colours of the drawing.

This will go on top of all our cupcakes at the Dragon Boat Festival and 50% of the donations from the sale of cupcakes will go to Beaumond House Hospice Care and Children's Bereavement Centre

It’s going to be a amazing day on Sunday. We will have loads of sweet and savoury bakes as always and we can’t wait! 🐲🛶🧁🍰💕x

COMPETITION YAY! 🎉🐲🐉

We are launching our Design a Cupcake Topper today for Newark Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday 13th September.

So we just want a picture drawn of a dragon or dragon boat to go on top of the cupcakes.

How to enter:-

I will be also dropping them off at local businesses in Newark too.

You can also just print a copy of the attached off.

Submit your design to [email protected]

Deadline is Sunday 6th September.

The winning design will be printed and displayed on KJ’s Bakes charity cupcakes at The Dragon Boat Festival.

The winner will also receive £20 worth of bakes.

50% donated to Children’s Bereavement Centre and Beaumond House Hospice Care

We have done this for the last 4 years and we’d loved seeing all the designs.

I had Katie home for a few days and I’m having some downtime before we go into a very, very busy September and it keeps going like that all the way through to the end of year.

So here is where we are over the next month and abit:-

Ruddington Village Market
Sat 3rd Oct.

I will be giving you lots of info for all the events that we are attending over the next month. Including launching our cupcake topper competition for Newarks Dragon Boat Festival. 👏🧁🧁🎉.

We are looking for some help for Sat 19th September as we have 2 events on that day and I’m attending Katie’s Graduation.

So this Saturday, I am BACK at Fernwood Village Hall for there annual summer fun.

There will be lots to do including live music, bouncy castles, arts and crafts, a bar and so much more!!!

I will be there with sweet and savoury bakes along with lots of other market stalls too. 🍰🧁

It’s on from 1pm until 6pm and FREE entry.

Not one to be missed. Look forward to seeing you all.
