So after a very busy week and selling out at Ruddington Village Market yesterday.

We of course had to end the week on this 21st birthday cake that I did for a friend’s daughter, the lovely Katie.

Katie had our signature chocolate fudge sponge and covered in beautiful pink butter icing and home made choc including the 21 on the side of the cake.

Happy 21st Katie. 🎂🎉

We had one hell of month with events, cake orders and Katie’s graduation.

So I’m now taking a little break before the madness starts again with Halloween, bonfire night and dare I say it Christmas events. 🎃🎆🎄xx

Nicola McNaught and I are on the middle Green and the market is on until 2pm.

Over 80 stalls, live music and of course us with all our amazing bakes, 🍰🧁

So in the middle of a very, very busy 2 weeks at KJ’s Bakes (which I can only describe as near enough being like our Christmas period)

Katie graduated from University of Chichester on Friday. 🎓👩‍🎓

It was amazing day, Held in the beautiful Chichester Cathedral and we had lots of celebrating afterwards. 🎉🎓

As you can imagine, I am very, very proud of her.💕xx

You’ll find us in P11 which is right at the front of the show, if you’re coming from the car park!

WOW!!! We had such an amazing day yesterday at Newark’s Dragon Boat Festival.

Nicola and I was rushed off our feet and you completely cleared us out of bakes. 🍰🧁💪

It was so lovely to see so many of our regulars too. Always mean the world to us that you stop by and say hi 👋 and of course buy our bakes. 💕

A big shout out and special thank you to Beaumond House Hospice Care and Children's Bereavement Centre for having us there. It’s get better and better each year.

I’ve rested a little bit today but had a few orders to do and now need to get ready for this weekend as we are keeping it local again and will be at both Fernwood Village Hall and The Collingham Show on Saturday.

NEWARK!!!! We are BACK at The Dragon Boat Festival tomorrow. 💪🧁🍰🐉🐲

It’s going to be an amazing day and the weather looking great too. ☀️😎

Lots to see and do tomorrow including games, the boat races themselves, food and of course us. We will have loads of bakes for you including our cupcakes with Georgia’s Winning cupcake topper on top. 🧁🧁
