Are you aware? As of December 2024, several significant developments in AI regulation are scheduled for implementation in April 2025:

United Kingdom:

Regulatory Guidance: By April 2025, UK regulators are expected to publish detailed guidance on AI regulation, building upon the government’s pro-innovation approach. This initiative aims to provide clarity and support for AI developers and users, ensuring compliance with established principles.

European Union:

AI Act Guidelines: The EU’s Artificial Intelligence Act, which came into force on 1 August 2024, includes provisions for developing guidelines and codes of practice. Specifically, by 2 May 2025, the AI Office is obligated to publish codes of practice to provide clarity on the Act’s scope and prohibitions.

These regulatory changes reflect a global effort to establish frameworks that ensure the safe and ethical development and deployment of AI technologies.
