Nice this morning, and great to be able to introduce people to the The Red Bench Project.

If you’re not familiar with the project, you really should check it out.

A simple idea from Wayne Rambo Groves to encourage supportive conversations with each other.

This bench is positioned at the lowlights, in North Shields. If you see someone sitting on the red bench, I encourage you to join them and just ask how they’re doing. You never know how much those words can mean to someone who may be struggling.

Tynemouth & North Shields was looking absolutely stunning today in the sunshine 🌞

Digital clutter isn’t just annoying; it has a real carbon cost.

Every unnecessary file, email, and unused program takes up server space and energy. The bigger your digital footprint, the more electricity is required to store and process it, which adds up - especially across an entire business.

Cleaning up your systems helps your devices run efficiently, reduces energy use, cuts costs, and contributes to your overall sustainability efforts. Small actions like deleting old files, unsubscribing from unnecessary emails, and reviewing storage can make a measurable difference when scaled across a team or organisation.

Why not take a few minutes today to clean up your digital space?

Step away from your desk and into something a little more refreshing 🌊

Join us for our Coastal NetWalk, a relaxed networking event designed to spark meaningful conversations without the confines of an office or meeting room.

Starting in Tynemouth, we’ll take in the fresh sea air while connecting with local businesses and entrepreneurs, sharing ideas, and building relationships as we walk.

No slides. No pressure.

Blue Monday might have been coined by marketeers but a drop in wellbeing is very real for many of us during the winter months.

Wellbeing matters just as much as performance. Sustainable businesses know it’s not about pushing harder, it’s about creating environments where people can perform consistently without burning out.

January is the perfect time to turn sustainability ambitions into real, measurable progress. 🌱

Start by asking yourself:

Where are our biggest emissions coming from?
Which areas have the most potential for change?
How can we engage our teams to make this stick?

Small, targeted actions today build momentum for long-term results. Sustainable growth isn’t a one-off project.

January is Veganuary 🌱

While many people take part personally, it’s also a great reminder for businesses that small, mindful choices can make a collective difference.

From catering and events to supply chains and policy decisions, sustainability often starts with asking better questions, not making drastic changes overnight.

A new year often comes with big sustainability promises, but actual progress starts with clarity.

Setting realistic, measurable goals helps businesses build momentum without burnout. Sustainability isn’t about perfection, it’s about making informed decisions that stack up over time.

If working towards reducing your environmental impact is on your agenda this year, start by understanding your current position and build from there.

If you’re not sure where to begin, we’re here to have a conversation and help you make sense of the first steps. 💬
