Interesting (i.e. difficult) repair job in this week - new scabbard for this antique cavalry sabre.

Luckily just enough of the original scabbard left to work out some of the idiosyncrasies needed to make it fit.

A quality timepiece deserves a quality strap.

1960's Omega Seamaster 30 on a freshly made 18 mm hand stitched and hand dyed single layer veg tan strap. This is the Angelus Light Blue which has a real vibrant 'pop' to it.

This had an interesting back story from a life at sea with the Merchant Navy - undoubtedly seen some adventures and escapades in its time.

A great big axe needs a great big axe cover! It's a nice change from making belts.

Hand dyed veg tan body with a double welt and massive brass rivets. Came out quite nice.
