There’s something I really love about the quiet time between Christmas and New Year. The inbox slows down, the noise fades a little, and it feels like the perfect space to work on the business rather than just in it. 🩵

Today is all about website development. Tweaks, updates, refining pages and getting everything ready for a fresh New Year launch. Nothing like cutting it fine, right 🫣

But honestly, this in-between period is where some of my best thinking happens. A calm head, a clear focus and a chance to set things up properly for what’s coming next ✨

I’m fully appreciating a moment to pause today. This year has been very busy and full on, and I also know how lucky that makes me.

I hope today brings you whatever you need most, whether that’s a full house or a quiet one, laughter, rest, good food, fresh air, or simply a slower pace. However you’re choosing to spend it, I hope it feels right for you.

And who knows… let’s see if I end up in the sea on Christmas Day 🌊

It’s the 24th of December and my absolute favourite day of the entire year… even more than my birthday. It’s also a very special date for me 💍 🤍

Today’s tip comes straight from the heart. Time is the most precious thing we have. Christmas has a way of reminding us to slow down, breathe and really enjoy the people we love. The work can wait. The emails will still be there. These moments will not and I need to remind myself of this more. I am making 2026 the year I take action on it too.

Over the festive break, take a little time to think about the things you would love to do if you had more time in your life. Then think gently about how you can make that time. Maybe it’s outsourcing. Maybe it’s letting go of tasks that drain you. Maybe it’s saying no more often so you can say yes to what truly matters.

We are so close to the end of the advent calendar 😢

Day 23 is here and this tip is one most small business owners have never done… but once they do, everything feels easier.

Build a simple repeat-task system so monthly and weekly admin no longer lives in your head. Here’s how:

1. Open Notion, ClickUp or even the Notes app on your phone
2. Create sections: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually
3. List every repeated task you do, such as:
• Update your website
• Chase invoices
• Check expenses
• Social media scheduling
• CRM updates
• Data backups
4. Add deadlines to each one
5. Set reminders or recurring tasks
6. Review everything once a month

This becomes your personal operations manual and the best part is you can hand parts of it over to a VA or team member when you're ready. The tasks are already mapped out, ready to go and easy to reassign.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟏'𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐩: Before you plan your 2026 content, stop and ask yourself one simple question. Where are my clients or customers hanging out?
Are they chatting in Facebook groups?
Are they scrolling LinkedIn on their lunch break?
Are they more inspiration led and spending time on Pinterest or Instagram?
Or are they the type who will never open TikTok… so you doing a dance trend won’t help you at all? 😂

Everyone feels the pressure to be everywhere and jump on everything, but when you know who your ideal client is and where they spend their time, your content becomes so much easier, more focused and far more effective.

Show up where they already are, speak directly to them, and let everything else go.

That’s intentional marketing at its finest 🩵✨
