Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of hearing from Glenda Hall during her 10-minute presentation on True Potential. With over 35 years of experience in the financial sector, Glenda shared her impressive journey and expertise.

Glenda's Journey:
Barclays Bank Plc (1986-2004): From junior cashier to personal banker, qualified as a Mortgage Adviser.
Cheltenham & Gloucester/Lloyds TSB (2004-2009): Top Mortgage and Protection Adviser of the year 2006, achieved Level 3 CeFa in Financial Advice.
Santander (2009-2013): Financial Adviser, studied to Level 4 Qualification.
St. James’s Place (2014-2023): Wealth Manager, built up 150 clients with £15 million funds under management, qualified at Level 6 – AF7.

Last Week @ BNI Mighty Oak

Our last meeting was a fantastic success with 9 visitors joining us! We had some incredible highlights to share:

🏆 Top Referrer: David Scott from David Scott Accountants, with an impressive 22 referrals passed last month.

🏆 Most Visitors Brought: Mark Preston from Missed A Beat, leading the way with the most visitors last month.

🏆 Most Business Passed: James from Keystone Architectural Surveying and Development, thanked for passing a whopping £308,000 in business last month.

Since our launch in September, our group has passed an amazing 490 referrals between each other.

During the session, we discussed the powerful principle of Givers Gain – the idea that by giving first, we ultimately receive. This isn't just a cornerstone of BNI, but a valuable life lesson for all.

We also enjoyed a fantastic 10-minute presentation by Paul from Envirotech, along with engaging 60-second pitches, networking conversations, and the vibrant energy that makes our group so special.

Member Spotlight: Charley Haigh of Optimum Skills presents 10 minutes.

Recently, we had the pleasure of hearing from Charley Haigh during her 10-minute presentation on Optimum Skills. Charley shared the incredible journey of Optimum Skills, from its humble beginnings in 2013 to becoming a leading training provider with a workforce of 60+ and multiple locations across the North East.

2018: First Construction Academy opened its doors.

🌟 BNI Mighty Oak Chapter Recap! 🌟

Last Thursday, our BNI Mighty Oak chapter came together once again for a productive networking event, where connections were made, business was referred, and goals were achieved. With an impressive 108 referrals per month and a £15,800 thank-you-for-business total last month, we’re seeing the power of our network in action!

Our 10-minute feature was led by Kelly from Full Power Utilities. Kelly, who has a background in education and a love for the outdoors, has been a part of the energy sector, specialising in commercial utilities. She shed light on the unregulated aspects of commercial energy and why it’s so essential to work with a trusted provider.
