50 Tonnes Of Co2 Less Per Year.​ ♻️

Constantly making progress in ensuring we’re keeping the planet and our workers safe, we have recently gone from six to five diesel trucks, four of which will be changed to electric in our latest eco-friendly plans. ⚡

These steps will remove any exhaust fumes and dust from our assembly units and saw shop whilst reducing the size of the rear overhang on every vehicle improving their ease of movement and therefore the safety of both drivers and pedestrians.

With the inclusion of white noise reversing sounders with front and rear blue lights, our new forklift protocols will bring improved awareness and visibility ensuring safety for everyone on site. 👷

Having been called in to look at a large steel fabrication it became apparent that a simple solution wasn’t going to cut it. Coming in at over 2m tall and 1.6m in diameter it was an awkward shape.​

The steel item was a finned unit to sit atop a smoke extraction system for a large London skyscraper.​ 🏢

To make things even more complicated the bottom edge was angled to suit the pitch of the roof, so couldn’t be used to sit the vent down.​

We designed this ring to sit inside the vent to pick and locate on an internal surface, supported by a heavy-duty timber hexagon underneath. 💙

More importantly, they are cleaner and more economical than the outgoing vehicles.​

Another sunny day in Thetford and another full load of packaging ready to go out.​ 🚚

Here we have some heavy-duty 15mm ply packing cases for equipment storage.

Cases are supplied with a lid and one side screwed for ease of access/loading and to negate the need to assemble from flatpack form on-site when time is limited.​

Construction of our new storage building is well underway and set to be completed in time for its opening at the end of June.

Local contractors Trell have undertaken the footings work and Roy Allen the building work, both having undertaken projects in the past on site.

This is being constructed on the site of our old lean to which was open to the elements and had many supporting stanchions restricting it use and usable area.

Once complete it will free up a lot of space within the main factory, storing items for contract packing and finish packed goods ready for container loading.

The bulk of the products being vaccine fridges, with all the associated solar panels and charging equipment so they can be used off grid in remote locations all around the globe, chiefly by UNICEF.
