✨ WAHOO!! WE'RE FINALISTS! ✨

We're incredibly proud and excited to share that Black Shuck Distillery has been named a finalist in the Customer Excellence Award category at the EDP Business Awards 2026.

This means so much to us because our customers mean so much to us. From our very first sale in 2012 to a gentleman who we have remained in touch with (see image of Mr & Mrs C) to the many 1000's of customers we have met along the way (see more images).

Our aim has always been to give every visitor an unforgettable experience and to make every customer feel part of our story. We aim to do this through our products, through our story telling, our online chats, emails, website ordering and through our events, experiences and face to face meetings.

So, to be recognised as finalists in the Customer Excellence category is very special. Read the judges comments in the images.

We will look forward to joining the other fabulous finalists at the awards ceremony in November but for now we will be raising a glass to being finalists.

🖤 What a brilliant afternoon we had at Saturday's Distillery Experience!

Our guests included a birthday celebration, a late Christmas gift, a group of young men who gathered together to celebrate 20 years since first met at Uni plus couples, groups of friends and families enjoying an afternoon making memories together.

There was plenty of tasting, lots of stories, a hands-on Gin Tasting Masterclass with Sarah, and a peek behind the scenes with our very own Master Distiller, Patrick.

From the first sip to the last story, it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, asking questions and having fun along the way.

We've got lots of photos from the day showing guests enjoying the interactive experience. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable afternoon. 🍸✨

We're very passionate about creating an experience that blends Norfolk folklore, family story, authenticity and the fascinating science behind distilling. Hearing that our experience has been well received makes us very happy.

Vision Gin at Black Shuck Distillery

We're proud to have been collaborating with Walsingham Shrine for over 5 years. Vision Gin is distilled at Black Shuck Distillery. Signature botanicals include juniper, nutmeg, grains of paradise, sweet orange, honey and honeysuckle. This distinctive Norfolk gin brings together warming spice, bright citrus and delicate floral notes.

Bottles are available from Norton's Café and the Shrine Shop in Walsingham. Share the legend, share the spirit.

14 Years Ago This Week... 🖤

This week marks 14 years since we sold our very first bottles of Black Shuck Sloe Gin at an event at Raveningham Hall.

Among those first customers was Mr C, who bought one of those bottles and remains a friend of the distillery to this day. Little did he know what the future would hold... and truthfully, neither did we.

What started as a fun family project quickly gathered momentum. We sold 300 bottles of Sloe Gin in just eight weeks, and from that moment on, our journey truly began.

Over the last 14 years, we've grown from a single product to an award-winning range of spirits, welcomed thousands of visitors through our doors, and shared countless stories, laughs and memories along the way.

While so much has changed, what remains the same is our commitment to sharing Norfolk's Legendary Spirit.

To everyone who has supported us, from those first bottles to today, thank you. You've been part of our story, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Cheers to the next chapter. 🥃
