Great Children Support is recruiting for a truly unique opportunity with an immediate start in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
This is not simply a role in an established children’s home.
It is an opportunity to help create a specialist, loving home for two children with learning disabilities, autism and ADHD — and to be part of its story from the very beginning.
Working closely with the Responsible Individual and Directors, you will help shape a warm, safe and highly individualised home where each child is known, understood and supported to thrive.
While we progress through the Ofsted application phase, there is meaningful work to do:
• Building strong relationships within the Rotherham community and with specialist professionals
• Developing pathways with education, health, social care and therapeutic services
• Helping recruit a skilled, compassionate and values-led staff team
• Creating a positive culture built on dignity, consistency, patience and aspiration
• Preparing a calm, nurturing home that feels genuinely like home — never institutional
With just two children, this loving home will offer the consistency, attention and personalised support that can make a lasting difference.

This is a rare opportunity to help build a specialist children’s home from the ground up, with strong and committed support from the Responsible Individual and Directors.
