📢 Loddon Neighbourhood Plan Referendum 🗳️

On the 14 November 2024, it’s time to vote in the Neighbourhood Plan Referendum! 🏡

The Neighbourhood Plan has been carefully crafted with Loddon and Chedgrave's best interests in mind. Here’s why your vote is crucial:

✅ Preserve Our Green Spaces: The plan ensures our green spaces and countryside remain protected for generations to come.

✅ Sensible Housing: Future development will be aligned with the needs of our community, balancing growth without losing our town's character.

✅ Support Local Businesses: The plan promotes a sustainable economy, giving local shops and businesses the chance to flourish.

✅ Better Infrastructure: With planned improvements in transport, education, and healthcare, we can build a stronger Loddon for everyone.

The hard work has been done—now we just need your vote to make it official. Let’s safeguard Loddon’s future and ensure it remains a vibrant, thriving place to live!

The plan is available to view on our website:

The two parishes of Chedgrave and Loddon, historically separated by the River Chet, are united in their resolve to develop the Chet Neighbourhood Plan.  In it, we seek to maintain, promote, and improve their quality as places to live, work, obtain services, and undertake leisure activities.

The Heritage Focus Group of the Chet Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group is holding four Saturday afternoon short walks based on ancient routes through our villages.

They aim to explore its history (both ancient and recent) and heritage. The walks are open to anyone who is interested; we would enjoy your company and insights, so please do come. Details are shown in one of the pictures.
