27m long Flemish brick wall taken down and rebuilt after a car decided to drive into it

Also Internal brick skin with reclaimed Oak beams sourced by us at JNR being put round our open plan kitchen/living area project before kitchen install.

2 very different projects but same thought and car taken into both.

The bitty bits and additional paving detail,

Rear extension to for new bedroom, ensuite and dressing room and remodelling in place of existing conservatory.

Final stages on this build, Silicon sealing the new bathroom.

Caulking wood work,

Cleaning and trimming the windows.

All the little bits that bring a build together,

As with previous builds the home owners asked if we could remove an old decking system and replace with a patio,

Barn conversion 2 and green house project

From a barn of 4 individual storage units to a 1 bedroom open plan unit retaining its original features and character.

A project we were lucky enough to give free rein on the external and internal design.

Part 2 of this project was the attached very tired and structurally unsafe timber frame green house,

After removing the structure we set about

Heli fix repairs and brick stitching detail.
External brick walling with a corbel design to straighten the walls 30mm bow.

New residence conservatory designed and installed by trusted supplier Sure Roofs.

Next stage of external landscaping and damp proofing detail along with a lime render finish to complement the new brick detail.

Liquid screed and UFH

Having the right tools for the job makes all the difference and that’s where having a liquid screed pump in the tools kit and a trained team to use it enables us to design a builds floor make up from foundation dig out stage to install.

This mean we plan how the external door threshold height will work with the finished floor height at DPC level along with the most cost effective and most efficient UFH/screed detail.

With a remodelling project opening up a 49m2 area and not wanting to loose wall space with large radiators we installed a new slab and went with an ufh design to make the most of the space as well as the most cost effective way of heating it.

Great Yarmouth terrace house remodel.

Rear exterior

With a 50mm bow in the external wall due to roof spread and a new internal layout.

New floor joists installed with external restraint straps,

Back door bricked in and window alterations to decrease opening sizes and work with new internal layout.

Rotten timber lintels removed and replaced with concrete.

New windows and back door.

Lean to roof over bathroom removed and orientation flipped to add support and allow for vaulted ceiling inside.

2 render base coats applied, with mesh between coats to straighten wall and add strength.

Walls finished with K rend Lime render in keeping with original build and allowing structure to breath.

New facia and gutters,

Having not done an up date on this project for a while.

Roof works in progress utilise existing tiles ti front elevation to keep front of property looking all as one,

Hip end and rear in new dark grey tile to complement existing.

Stairwell new opening complete and new stairs constructed.

New bedroom/ensuite/utility area and garage ceiling plastered whilst awaiting windows.

New combi boiler installed in garage and 1st fix plumbing/electrical complete,

Windows and doors fitted as far as possible in extension to enable us to complete plastering.

Existing flat roof extension in process of being taken down ready to enable us to install new extension roof once main roof works is complete.

Open plan living.

Bringing 3 areas into one to form a 49m2 kitchen living area.

A total of 7 beams in place and some on site fabrication of existing beams to open up the area.

New bifold door openings formed to side and rear elevation with existing door ways in filled with 7.3n concrete blocks building in additional strength in.

Existing floor slab being a make up of original cold slab and previous extensions has been broken out, excavated down 350mm to install new dpc and concrete.

Once cured a 150mm Celotex insulation will be installed ready for a designed underfloor heating system.

Utilising our Putzmeister screed pump finishing with a 55mm Cemfloor flowing screed.

New feature brick walls to finish the external walls with a foil backed insulation detail.

Mega effort by the guys with only being 5 days on site so far.

Total of 10655 bricks in the wall then to be capped with a tile creasing and engineering brick detail.

Single brick skin Lean to kitchen extension insulation upgrade.

New vaulted ceiling detail

1st job to remove the hollow board gable cladding.

batten of the existing walls and stud work infill the gable ends

25mm Celotex between battens and 100mm between studs, finished with 12mm cement board ready for render finish.

Existing roof stripped, new lean to rafters cut on from 6x2 timbers to form vaulted roof detail to enlarge the feel inside and give an increased insulation value from the 75mm loft roll it had.

Covered porch area formed as part of new roof.

Finished with 100mm Celotex between rather, new breather felt and new concrete pan tiles.

Ready for electrical and plumbing alterations before a full replaster.
