Hot weather can be dangerous, so it’s important to take extra care during high temperatures that we are due to be expecting.

Here are some simple ways to stay safe and comfortable:

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
🏠 Keep curtains and windows closed during the hottest hours
🧊 Stay in cool or shaded areas where possible
👕 Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing
🚫 Avoid going out in direct sun during peak afternoon heat
💊 Make sure medications are stored correctly and taken as advised

Watch out for signs of heat exhaustion such as dizziness, headaches, confusion, weakness, or nausea.

Check in on Neighbours, Relatives, and Vulnerable people during the hot weather — a quick call or visit can make a big difference ❤️

Elderly people in the Bottesford community would like to use our services but we are currently nearing full capacity....

Therefore we are looking for 3 new people to join our care family to help us help those in need!
