Mechanic required to remove engines from end of life vehicles. Experience is preferred but training can be given. Engines are sold for export and need to be removed without damage. Pipes and wire can be cut. Suspension also can be cut with Stihl saw. Vehicles will be depolluted prior. Own working space is provided. We have forklifts tilt ramps single posters etc. Ideally own tools but we can provide. Must be able to clear up any mess after engine removal.

Job vacancy - Kirkby in Ashfield site

We require a member of staff to operate a scrap handler. Experience is required.

Loading vehicles into a Lefort baler, crushing them by remote control. Stacking the bales and then loading bulkers with bales. Training can be given for the use of the baler but the scrap handler operator needs to have experience ideally with one the bigger yards emr ward sims etc. Basic checks on machine oil/water greasing etc will be part of start up routine.
