Ingenuity Impact 2024/25 National Competition - Winners Announcement! πŸ“’

Following our Final Round as part of the Ingenuity Impact 2024/25 Showcase on Thursday 12th June, we are delighted to announce our 2025 prize winners... πŸ†

A special congratulations to Doris Greenwood, who won both 2025 Impact Entrepreneur of the Year and Health Champion with her business, FUSE 4 Performance, which is an innovative at-home hormone analysis device designed specifically for female footballers. It utilizes daily urine testing to accurately map estrogen levels, enabling players and coaches to customize training plans and nutrition to optimize performance and reduce the risk of ACL injuries, which are notably prevalent in women's football πŸ‘

❗ Other successful business ventures of the night included Lita-louise Gardner and Stephen Covell with Project EDI, who won the Communities Champion, and Ben Jones and Ed Donell with Lowland Meadows, who won the Climate Champion prize.

❗ Project EDI addresses the significant barriers faced by Deaf students and British Sign Language (BSL) users. The initiative aims to create an open-source BSL dataset to enable scalable AI tools and improve access to education, employment, and healthcare for Deaf communities.

❗ Lowland Meadows is addressing the loss of species-rich grasslands and hedgerows by restoring traditional lowland meadow habitats. Their company aims to enhance biodiversity, combat climate change by storing carbon, and improve water quality by reducing nutrient run-off.

❗ Additionally, a special congratulations to our three University of Nottingham Champions, Monet Davis with FaceFlavour, Ivie Woghiren with Phase Bloom, and Debbie Mojibola with Stylist Checked.

Thanks to our judges, who gave up a day out of their busy schedules to contribute to this event, Ed Wright, Karen Elliott, Helen Hay, Stacy Johnson, Simon Mosey, we couldn't have done this without your support!

We saw a diversity of innovative and impactful changemakers participating this year, congratulations to all of our winners. We can't wait to see the impact your businesses will have in the future! ✨ πŸŽ‰
