🔧 Auxiliary Belt Failure – Diagnosed & Repaired! 🚗💨

This customer contacted us after noticing their auxiliary belt had become badly damaged. We were able to diagnose the likely issue over the phone and, as we weren’t available to attend until later that evening, we advised the customer on the best and most cost-effective way to get the vehicle safely back to their home address.

Once we were able to attend, we carried out a full inspection and found the problem wasn’t just the belt. The tensioner had lost its tension and was no longer keeping the correct tension on the belt, which had caused the belt to become damaged.

🔧 Repair carried out:
✅ New auxiliary belt fitted
✅ New belt tensioner fitted
✅ Fault diagnosed and rectified
✅ Repair completed the same day
✅ Back on the road by the following morning! 🚗💨

A customer contacted us after their Kawasaki Mule kept suffering from a flat battery and needed jump-starting every time it was used.

After carrying out a full diagnosis, we found the alternator wasn’t charging, which meant the battery had been repeatedly run flat and was no longer able to hold a charge.

✅ New alternator fitted
✅ New battery fitted
✅ Full basic service completed

🔍 Diagnosis: After inspection, we found the release bearing had failed, causing the noise and poor clutch operation. We also discovered the flywheel was excessively worn.

🚗🔧 Another Saved Engine at TB Mechanic Solutions! 🔧🚗

A customer came to us after visiting two garages who both diagnosed a head gasket failure — a costly and time-consuming repair. They wanted a third opinion… and we’re glad they did!

👀 Our inspection found:

* The thermostat wasn’t opening, preventing proper coolant circulation
* The coolant mix was far too weak, causing it to boil prematurely
* This overheating likely affected the thermostat’s performance

🧪 We also carried out a block test, which confirmed there were no combustion gases in the cooling system — ruling out a head gasket failure.

✅ Our solution:

* Replaced the faulty thermostat
* Fully flushed the cooling system
* Refilled with the correct coolant mixture

💥 Result? The car is now running perfectly — no major engine work needed!

Complex injector repair completed 🔧

Vehicle arrived with leaking injector seals causing pressure and oil to escape through the rocker cover. Injectors were heavily seized with carbon build-up, copper washers stuck fast in the head, and a clamp bolt had snapped during removal.

All components carefully extracted, threads repaired where needed, new seals fitted and everything reassembled to restore proper operation.
