I am really excited to have joined the team at Almond Care recently as the Business Development Manager, a role that I am really passionate about.
This role gives me the chance to work with individuals from the very start of their journey with Almond Care and affords me the privilege of ensuring that we provide a bespoke, person centred package of support for each Individual.
Having worked within Health and Social Care for 25 years now, I love nothing more than supporting individuals to take that huge step towards independence - helping them to move into their own accommodation, hold their own tenancy and achieve all the things they may wish to achieve.
At Almond Care, we pride ourselves on ensuring that we listen to Individuals, and that they are involved in the decision making around where they live, who lives with them and who their staff are, thereby empowering all individuals that we support to have a voice and to be heard!
Since starting in this role here I have been blown away by the team's joined up approach to care and support- something that can be difficult to achieve in larger organisations.
All functions of the business are aligned to ensure that Individuals have the best possible experience ranging from the people we support/care for, our clinical teams, healthcare assistants, support workers and everyone else! Every person is as important as the next, and all contributions valued- refreshing!
We currently have some really exciting opportunities in the pipeline and I'll be sure to keep you all updated with progress along the way, the highs, the challenges and the successes that New Developments can bring!
