Today as part of a networking event, hosted by Her Business Circle, 16 female business owners, including myself met at Strathleven House, Dumbarton, not far from myself.
Included in the two hours was a talk from Kirsten about the work being done to renovate the house, built in 1708 and owned by William Cochrane.
This was followed by a talk by Fiona owner of FM Massage, the party was then split into two groups, one group was taken by Fiona to see her room and hear some more about her business, whilst the other half were given a tour of the house, then the groups switched.
After that it was back upstairs for a cuppa and some more networking, then back down to the meeting room for some stretching exercises that we can all do whilst sitting at our desks, very gentle but very effective and very welcome 👍👍👍👍👍Thank you Fiona.
Fiona then asked for a volunteer for the chair and Mary Anne Smith president of The Chamber was straight up there!!!!!!
It was the quickest two hours of the day, very enjoyable and informative.
Can't wait for the next one on May 21st at The Dumbaronshire Chamber of Commerce HQ in The Whitecrook Business Centre at 10 am
