The one question I get asked the most is “what’s your favourite job you’ve ever done”.
Today we have a new winner. When some close friends asked if I could build a secret bookshelf door (Murphy door) for their sons 18th birthday present, with lights and secret opener, thats Shaggy’s part, I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
Things like this is one reason I love my job so much.

On this job this whole composite deck had to be lifted up and all new joists installed, this was due to the previous installer using untreated timber that had rotted🤦
It wasn’t the easiest job, but with careful labelling of each board we had it all back together and looking like new

We were asked to carry out repairs on this porch. The customer felt draughts coming through, felt very cold inside and was also leaking rainwater.
We found the kitchen extractor exited into the porch roof space so extended it out onto the new cladding we installed. We also insulated the ceiling, sorted the leak and draughts and changed the failed double glazed unit.
Unfortunately we forgot to take a before picture but it looks like new now.
