Dear Sally

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and the whole team, on behalf of all the family, for the care, support and professionalism you showed us throughout the arrangements for Dad’s funeral.
Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional throughout, and we really appreciated the way everything was handled. Your support helped ensure that the arrangements went smoothly and that we could focus on giving Dad a fitting farewell.
Yesterday’s funeral went beautifully, and we could not have asked for more. The care and respect shown to Dad, together with the support given to us as a family, meant a great deal.
Please pass on our sincere thanks to everyone involved. We are very grateful for everything you have done to help us give Dad the send-off he deserved.

She will be loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Requiem Mass at St. Annes Church, Ormskirk on Monday 19th October 2026 at 1:15pm followed by committal at West Lancashire Crematorium.

Passed away peacefully in Southport Hospital on 24th September 2026 aged 92 years of Aughton.
Dearly loved wife of the late Frank, much loved Mum of Gary and Sandra dear Mother in Law of Mel and loving Nana of Conor, Owen and Calum and dear friend to Gary’s partner Pat.
Grateful thanks to the Doctors, nursing staff and Care Assistants for all their kindness and care shown to Dorothy.

Linda Jane Aspinall
(Nee Cansfield)

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our incredible wife, sister, mum, granny, and friend to many, Linda Jane Aspinall (nee Cansfield). Linda finally lost her battle with a brain tumour at home in Holmeswood on Sunday 20th September at the too young age of 63. A service to celebrate her life will be held at St John the Baptist church, School Lane, Burscough at 11.15am on Saturday 17th October.
The dress code is colour, not black.

Linda’s faith, love, strength, and care for others, shaped not only our family, but many in our church family, and a large part of the wider community. Whether they felt like they needed it or not, Linda found a way to care for everyone she met through hand-stitched gifts, cakes and meals, sharing advice and experience, giving up her time, or simply being a prayerful shoulder to lean on. Linda has touched more lives than we could possibly count. We are all lucky to have known Linda, in whatever form that took, and will be forever thankful for the place she holds in our hearts.

Our darling Linda — Mum — Granny — you will be greatly missed, but you will live on in the memories we share, the lessons you taught us, and your love that will continue through generations.
