She will be loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service at West Lancashire Crematorium on Friday 18th September 2026 at 2:30pm.

We feel truly honoured to have been asked by the family to conduct the Funeral Service of a retired Major in the British Army. The occasion was marked with all the dignity and tradition of military ceremonial, Standard Bearers, lone Piper, a Guard of Honour proudly wearing their medals. Having supported this family before, it was especially meaningful to once again be entrusted with helping them honour a loved one 💙

Passed away peacefully in hospital, after a short illness, on 17th August aged 83 years.

Much loved Mum of Ian and Angie, dearly loved Nana of Wendy, Daniel, Megan and Abbie, and loving Sister of John.

Funeral Service at The Lakeside Church, Southport on Tuesday 8th September at 10.30am, followed by committal at West Lancashire Crematorium.

Flowers welcome, donations in lieu are being gratefully received for The Lakeside Church.
