At Arch Family Mediation, we’re proud to offer the government’s £500 family mediation voucher to help cover the cost of mediation where discussions involve arrangements for children.

To make mediation as accessible as possible, we’ve structured our fees so that the voucher covers the full cost of the first joint session – including preparation and follow up – with no hidden charges. The only cost is for your individual MIAM (Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting), which is £150 per person. This means that £150 per person covers the cost of the individual meetings that need to take place, plus the first joint meeting.

"Arch Family Mediation offers the £500 government voucher to help cover child-focused mediation. Affordable, confidential, and child-centered support.

Individual meetings (MIAMs) The first stage of any mediation is for you to attend an individual meeting with us. This is often referred to as a MIAM which is an acronym for Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting. This meeting takes place online, lasts up to an hour and costs £150 at Arch Fami...

The first stage of every family mediation is a MIAM which is short for Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting. It is a meeting between you and the mediator to discuss how mediation might work for you based on your individual circumstances, and to go through the other options available to you to resolve things. Our MIAMs take place online, but if mediation progresses to joint meetings, these can take place in person at a number of locations in Oxford and Oxfordshire, or online.

Find out more about MIAMs here or give Carrie a call on 07476 012552.

A MIAM is short for Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting. It is a meeting between you and the mediator, it lasts around an hour and at Arch Family Mediation it costs £150. It is the first step of the mediation process, and is a prerequisite to joint meetings taking place between you and the...
