Sometimes moving forward means deciding not to carry everything with us.
Anger, disappointment, resentment, hurt ,they may be part of what happened, but they do not have to become part of who we are.
Holding on to negative emotions can keep us tied to moments that have already passed. We replay them, analyse them, relive them — and without noticing, we give the past power over the present.
Letting go does not mean pretending something never happened. It means working through it, taking the lesson, understanding what it taught us, and choosing not to let it control what comes next.
Life will bring difficult people, painful situations and moments we wish had gone differently. But our future is not created by those moments.
It is created by what we choose to do after them.
Sometimes we have to leave certain emotions, situations and even versions of ourselves behind to make space for something better.
For me, that is what moving forward means — not forgetting the past, but refusing to live in it.
Look ahead. Choose peace. Choose growth. Choose what comes next.
The past is a chapter. It does not have to become the whole story.
