It's the little things...

A friend who started a brand new job a few weeks ago had some "significant car trouble".

Driving out to check on them, I was able to confirm that the car was safe to drive until repairs could be sorted.

Advised them of what I thought the problem was and where to get the part I think they needed.

Today, I went round and did I full diagnostic on the car which put my suspicions right. Managed to have a look at the other parts connected to the part that failed which confirmed I was right.

A half hour of my time, a £50 part, and my friend now has a working car which sorts out 90% of the worry in a new job.

And... yes... I do have a tool for everything

More graphic design work.

The client brief included terms such as "energetic, explosive, out if this world, and, repeating."

We're overjoyed with the results and will now be using professional voice over, edited music, and special effects to make it "sing, shine, and instantly recognisable" .

It sounds silly but I get quite invested in my clients...

The "I'm not happy till you're happy" really does factor in.

A recent install, the client couldn't see their TV from where they were sat.

"If you can't see the TV, do you want me to move it so you can?"

"No, that's putting you out of your way, I can see it from here"

"I can't see it from here and you're looking at the TV"

3 minutes of moving one piece of furniture, 2 minutes of plugging in the extension lead to get a bit of length.

Why? Why do folk feel like they have to struggle?
