The client brief included terms such as "energetic, explosive, out if this world, and, repeating."

We're overjoyed with the results and will now be using professional voice over, edited music, and special effects to make it "sing, shine, and instantly recognisable" .

It sounds silly but I get quite invested in my clients...

The "I'm not happy till you're happy" really does factor in.

A recent install, the client couldn't see their TV from where they were sat.

"If you can't see the TV, do you want me to move it so you can?"

"No, that's putting you out of your way, I can see it from here"

"I can't see it from here and you're looking at the TV"

3 minutes of moving one piece of furniture, 2 minutes of plugging in the extension lead to get a bit of length.

Why? Why do folk feel like they have to struggle?

"What's on your mind?" asks Facebook...

Two weeks ago I, Matt, was interviewed for a "Junior Technical Support Technician" by a very big local business.

I thought the interview went well and gave loads of examples of how I openly help people make the best use of their technology.

They asked "are you doing this through your company?" "What's do you charge?"

I explained that noone should profit from enabling those who are "forced" to use technology to do the simplest things... I do it for free.

The feedback "you appear more concentrated on the access, use, and encouragement of safe use of technology, than problem solving and diagnostics".

Weirdly, I am happy I didn't get this role, and I will ALWAYS help those who need help accessing technology than chasing money.

So, I'm opening up Advolve to anyone who needs help with the essentials.

The name "advolve" is semantic of "evolve"...

"evolve" a gradual roll out or development, a change.

"Volve" a turn towards
"Ad" a decision to build or shift.

Think of it as effect and affect.

Been 165 days since our last post... oops...

As things are progressing nicely, we're proud to say that our technicians are PAT test and IET 18th Edition qualified with accepted insurance for testing of portable items, microwave energy testing, RCD and hard wire testing, and electrical safety testing...

We're lso qualified for sound, lighting, and data network installation, repair, and alterations.

Long story short, as long as it's not an installation that needs commissioning (new fuse boxes, plug sockets, wet/bathroom); we're available for replacement, testing, alterations, and more!
