Time for Reflection
Itโs funny how one decision can change your life in ways you never expect.
Last year, I really struggled with my mental health, much of it due to being in a toxic work environment. I felt isolated, excluded, and completely lost. Deep down, I knew I needed to leave, but it was a frightening choice to make. My confidence had hit rock bottom, and I had lost all belief in myself.
With the support of my family, I took a leap of faith and started my own small business, Trudy Lacey Compliance. I wanted to use my experience and expertise to help companies improve their processes, gain accreditations, and so much more.
Now, Iโm proud to say I have some amazing clients, and Iโm incredibly grateful for each of them. Their belief in me, and seeing the positive impact of my work on their day-to-day operations has reminded me of what Iโm capable of. Because of their encouragement, Iโm now studying for my IOSH (Health & Safety) and AAT Level 2 (Accounts).
Looking back, that one scary decision turned out to be the best thing I could have done.
