We remember the service personnel who tragically lost their lives in the early hours of this morning Our deepest thoughts are with their loved ones and shipmates.

We want to be able to get to anyone in their time of need as quickly as possible… if we can not fit through it takes vital seconds if not minutes more for us to reach the address we need to get too.

Fire blankets require maintenance too! They must have legible instructions, be under 7 years old and in good condition without grease staining, damage, stiffness or fraying and genuine BS EN 1869 products and not fakes.
And if, as pictured, you successfully use it on a fire you should dispose of it and replace it, not keep it for future use, they are single use only.

Do you know your Fire Extinguishers? 🧯

Most people grab the wrong extinguisher in an emergency. Here’s the fast rule:

• Firexo – covers ALL fire types
• Water – only Class A
• Foam – A & B
• Dry Powder – A, B, C & D
• CO₂ – Electrical & B
• Wet Chemical – Class F (cooking oils)
• Water Mist – A, Electrical & F

Using the wrong extinguisher can make a fire worse. Know your kit, stay safe.

Not having your extinguishers serviced regularly can end up rather expensive - every extinguisher on this site required corrective action - however by reviewing the risk we were able to reduce the number required as well as change over unsuitable extinguishers for ones suitable for the risk.
