Don’t let the suits and meeting room fool you… we’re actually a really friendly bunch! 😂🤝

Looking at the photos from this week’s BNI Endeavour meeting, you might think we’re a room full of serious businesspeople having very formal conversations.

The reality couldn’t be more different!

We’re a friendly, approachable and sociable group of local business owners who genuinely enjoy getting together every Wednesday morning.

And here’s the best bit…

It’s not about walking into a room and trying to sell your business to everyone. It’s about having a room full of people who want to help promote YOUR business! 🙌

That’s what makes BNI Endeavour so special.

This week, we celebrated some fantastic achievements from our members:

🏆 A partnership built on trust

Mark John - Mortgages from Mewstone Mortgage Advice presented a testimonial to Rebecca Ann from Diamond Accounts & Bookkeeping.

Rebecca was actually the person who encouraged Mark to join BNI Endeavour in the first place! Since then, they’ve built a fantastic working relationship, regularly referring clients to each other and helping both businesses grow.

🤝 22 referrals in ONE month!

A huge well done to Scott from West Country Gas Services, who passed an incredible 22 business referrals to fellow chapter members during September!

💷 £7,877 of business generated!

Mark Dawson from Dampmaster and CMS Group was recognised for the referrals he’d passed to fellow members, resulting in £7,877 worth of business for other businesses in the chapter in just one month!

☕ 10 one-to-one meetings!

And a big shout-out to Steph Bennett, our will writer from Simon Hall Will Writing Services, who completed 10 one-to-one meetings with fellow members in a single month, building relationships and learning how to help their businesses grow.

And that’s what BNI is really about.

Not selling to each other.

Not awkward networking.

Not standing around handing out business cards.

It’s about building genuine friendships, understanding each other’s businesses and actively looking for opportunities to help one another succeed.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR BNI ENDEAVOUR

This week we welcomed our new leadership team for BNI Endeavour:

Paul Davenport – President
Tess Stuber - Travel Counsellor – Vice President
Melanie Kingdom – Secretary/Treasurer

A big congratulations to all three, and good luck as they help take the chapter forward through the rest of 2026 and into 2027.

For us, BNI Endeavour has never just been about turning up for a coffee and a chat — although, to be fair, there is plenty of coffee involved.

It’s about having each other’s backs.

It’s about spotting opportunities for one another, making introductions, referring business and helping fellow members grow.

Week after week, the chapter brings together local business owners who want to support each other and generate real business through trusted relationships.

And we’d love to welcome some new faces.
