Happy 1st of July!

The second part of the year is here (word pun there!).

Where are you today? Did you ever imagine to be here, doing what you're doing now, in January?

Or, are you one of those people who had it all planned out, and you're exactly where you thought you'd be?

I invite you, wherever you are in your life, to go on side quests. Try a new recipe, a new cafe, go for a walk in a new place, do something different. Let that novelty inspire you.

You never know who you will meet, or who's listening. It could be right what you need to make your dream true.

How do you know you're in the right networking group?

For me, it's when it feels natural to join in when you have the energy and you're off!

We had our National Online Meeting with today, with professionals from all over the UK. And good thing I joined DESPITE being off, because we had a great exercise focused on having a chat with your future self.

And believe me, with me being all over the place with the move and all I am doing on the side with Achievist Solutions and , sitting down with me in 6 months was eye opening.

That woman rocks, and I am so proud of her.

We keep running around trying to do MORE every day.

More connections, more sales, more admin, more research, more learning, more customer support... We lose sight of how much we achieved already.

How many small and big things that were on our Bucket list, in business like in life, have been already done.

I do a list of 101 bucket list items I have already achieved in life once in a while, to remind me of all the beauty and growth we've already experienced.

To be grateful and mindful of all the beauty and growth that surrounds us.

And, maybe, celebrate it all if I forgot to do it then.

NEW SUMMER HOURS UPDATE!

As you probably know by now, I am preparing to move to Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
 
I landed in Dorset 11 years ago, and while it feels weird to leave the hills, the sea, and the people who taught me to call this place home, I know this is the dawn of new beginnings, and the day can't come soon enough!
 
BUT, this also means packing, travelling, and all that comes with such a big change. I had to take a strong decision to be able to keep all working smoothly, that means new working hours:

WORKING HOURS FOR SUMMER
 
9 AM - 5:30 PM Tuesday to Thursday ONLY.

What does it mean for new and existing clients, and networking contacts.
 
I will not take meetings or work on Monday and Friday. If you have:
- a prebooked appointment,
- I gave my availability for an event, or
- a project task falls on Monday or Friday,
 
Rest assured these will be completed (and I will be there if we agreed to meet at an event!)

I believe these changes are agreeable with all, and I hope to be able to say Namárië in person before the day comes.

I'd build The Treehouse. With local people, for local people.

There is a bookshop in a treehouse in my head, and I have been too shared to tell anyone about it.

Sunday was my birthday, and finally had the courage to test a friend to say it out loud: I want to build The Treehouse. A real one. Bookshop, tea parlour, community centre, actual tree.
Somewhere anyone can go, have a scone, feel safe and play, grow a bit.

My Old G self showed up immediately with "permits" and "Health and Safety" and "impossible!".

My friend, the incredible Katherine | Interior Designer | Design Detective | Berkshire replied: "Definitely doable."

I am 36 and I am done calling this impossible.

So if you know anyone in Lincolnshire - funding, planning, community building, or just not based there, but someone who has built something that should have NOT worked - I would genuinely love to hear from you.

What would you do, if you stopped calling it impossible?
