A wasp nest does not have to be in a roof or wall. In this video, the entrance was tucked into old timber close to ground level.

If we have already treated a wasp nest at your home this year and you spot another entrance elsewhere on the property, do not book and pay again. Give us a call.

Further nests at the same property are included in the £95 cover until 31 December 2026. The original nest is also covered by a return at no extra cost if it remains active after 48 hours.

You do not have to see a hanging paper nest to have a wasp problem.

If wasps are repeatedly using the same hole in the roofline, brickwork, air brick or shed, the nest is often tucked away behind it.

Please do not seal the gap while it is active. Keep people clear and let us know exactly where the wasps are going in.

One more pass with the hedge trimmer and this could have been a very different afternoon.

A homeowner in Longton had already started trimming this hedge when they discovered a wasp nest hidden among the branches. They had missed the top of it by inches and, remarkably, escaped without a single sting.

The important clue wasn’t seeing the nest. It was seeing wasps repeatedly using the same flight path into the hedge.

If you notice that, stop cutting and keep your distance.
