Do you find delegating difficult?

Is just easier to do the job yourself?

I find this is the main reason why people are resistant to using a VA.

Most people need help with the mundane tasks, that reoccur and take up so much time. Stopping to show someone seems counterproductive; by the time you have taught someone, you could have done it yourself.

Trust me, initially it can be time consuming but once the relationship between client and VA connects, it really does work. It is all about communication and trust.

I love it when my clients express that they feel less stressed, they have support and have someone they can turn to for support.

Eventually it just clicks and works.

Do you like change or does it scare you?

I know that change can be such a difficult thing to face, especially when it comes to the big things in life such as changing jobs, where you live, relationships.

Having dreams of facing your fears to make a change, is one thing, doing it is another.

Maybe start by facing something small.

As the quote says: nothing can be changed until it is faced.

The last year or so has proved that working virtually, works.

I love being a VA. It means I can work anywhere. Most of the platforms I use are compatible on my phone. I can take my laptop anywhere, so I can work as little or as much as I want.

Not only do I give my clients Freedom to Focus on what is important to them, working virtually gives me the Freedom to Focus as well.

How often do you wonder “what happens if this happens?” or “what should I do if that happens?” I really try hard to only think about the here and now. I do still plan for things, but I really try hard not to worry, until I have something to worry about. That is what makes me present, I am then able to spend focused time on what I am doing.

As Winnie the Pooh says, what if it doesn’t happen?

Today is hump day. 🐫

The middle of the week. If you are like me you have had two days of working flat out and your energy levels are starting to feel it and the weekend still seems ages away.

Make sure you recharge your motivation, eat well, drink water and get plenty of fresh air!

Once you start to look after yourself you will start to realise that it actually does not matter what day it is!

Remember self-care is not selfish!

What are your plans this week?

Are you busy, are you organised or are you stressed?

I have a very busy week and keep looking at my diary to make sure I have it clear in my head all of things I have to do and the places I have to be.

I heard this quote for the first-time last week and thought, despite how busy I am, it is good to always practice this. Why not give it a go?

October is just around the corner and it is starting for feel very autumnal.

Part of me loves this time of year, with the gorgeous colours of the leaves, but I really dislike feeling cold!

One thing we cannot change is the weather, but we can change the way we work or think.

Reflection on the last month is a good idea.

I like to spend a short time thinking what I did well, what I would change, what I want to try next month. I also like to thing about my own free time, how I want to spend and who I want to spend it with, so that I have things to look forward to.

Remember self-care and Freedom to Focus are so important.
