I am a highly skilled specialist in Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Operations with over 20 years of experience across various industries, including technology, healthcare, aerospace, manufacturing, packaging, pharmaceuticals, and Artificial Intelligence. I founded CJ & L Consultancy Ltd in 2021 after spending many years in permanent roles, where I was proud to develop and implement clear bus
iness frameworks for quality and operational excellence. However, I felt I could better serve start-ups and scaling businesses by guiding them in structuring their operations. I transitioned into consulting, taking on contracts in new industries such as medical devices and healthcare. In February 2022, a CEO approached me with an exciting opportunity to support his healthcare start-up focused on improving the lives of people with complex lung and heart diseases. I was thrilled by the project and chose to become an integral part of the team, dedicating myself to their mission until my key projects were completed. Over the next two and a half years, I helped introduce an ISO13485-certified quality standard, built a strong quality team, and gained valuable experience in software development for medical devices in compliance with MDD and MDR regulations. I also played a crucial role in a successful A-round funding campaign, raising £6.5 million. After my time with the start-up ended in November 2024, I decided to relaunch my consultancy. Since then, my journey has been incredibly rewarding, with partnerships with companies like Cognidox and Cambridge Networks. The support and insights from industry consultants have been invaluable in expanding my network, which continues to be a key factor in my success. Key Projects:

Fostered a ‘people first’ culture and introduced Staffcircle to enhance internal communication, career development, and performance evaluations. Played a key role in relocating the office to support remote working, resulting in a £50k annual cost reduction. Contributed as a member of the Leadership Team to introduce a two-year business strategy, focusing on resource management, CE marking stage gates, and FDA clearance. Successfully led the completion of two phased clinical trials, ensuring compliance with ICH, GMP, and GCP standards. Developed and executed a comprehensive strategy, taking full ownership of quality and regulatory assessments across the business. Led the successful mapping and completion of all customer and internal projects within agreed timelines. Drove the implementation of EDMS (Cognidox) and ensured successful integration of ISO 13485 quality standards within the business.
