WHAT NURSING GAVE ME THAT RETIREMENT COULDN’T TAKE AWAY:

I retired from nursing, but I didn’t retire from the lessons nursing taught me.

It taught me patience.

Compassion.

Resilience.

The importance of listening.

And most importantly, it taught me that every person has a story.

Those lessons still influence the way I live today.

They influence how I communicate with people, how I encourage others, and how I approach my own challenges.

Our careers may end, but the experiences we gain along the way remain part of us.

We carry our lessons into every new chapter.

And I’m grateful for mine.🙏

If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know me as a former nurse, a retired healthcare professional, and an online entrepreneur.

But there is much more to me than those titles.

I’m someone who enjoys quiet walks, loves crocheting, enjoys learning new things, and appreciates the simple moments in life.

I’ve discovered that some of the things that bring us the most joy aren’t necessarily the biggest things.

Sometimes it’s a peaceful walk.

A good conversation.

A cup of tea.

Creating something with your hands.

Or simply having time to reflect.

I’m still learning, still growing, and still discovering new things about myself.

And that’s what I hope you’ll see here—not perfection, but a real person sharing a real journey.
