You are allowed to build your business your way.

Not the way the loudest person in your industry insists.

Not even the way the guru with the biggest following tells you.

Especially not the way someone who doesn't know your life, your values, or your vision says it has to be done.

BUILD IT YOUR WAY...

Early on, I absorbed everyone else's opinions about how I should show up, what I should sell, and how I should grow.

And the more I listened to the noise, the further I got from the thing that made me good at this in the first place.

My why... The deep, unshakeable reason I built a business in this space. The people I wanted to help. The life I was working towards.

When I came back to that, really came back to it, everything shifted.

Your genius doesn't live in the noise.

It lives in the quiet. In the clarity. In the work that feels yours completely.

Reconnect with your why this week and see how it feels...

If you are feeling the noise deafening right now and you would love to be free and fall in love with your business again, message me and let's talk about how I can help you. 😍

How long are your coattails?

It’s something I’ve been noticing more and more in the online space.

A lot of noise.
A lot of opinions.
A lot of “my mentor says this” and “my coach says that”.

And look, I’m all for giving credit where it’s due.

We all learn from somewhere. None of us are creating in isolation.

But there’s a difference between learning from someone… and hiding behind them.

Because when your content is built on name-dropping, tagging bigger names, and repeating what someone else has already said, you have to ask yourself a slightly uncomfortable question:

👉 Is this actually my voice?

Or am I borrowing someone else’s?

There will always be people impressed by proximity.

Who you know. Who you’ve worked with. How much you’ve invested...

But that’s not the same as credibility.

Credibility comes from lived experience. From doing the work. From understanding something deeply enough that you can explain it in your own words, in your own way.

Not straight out of someone else’s playbook.

You don’t need to sound like your mentor to be successful.

You don’t need to repeat industry jargon to be taken seriously.

And you definitely don’t need to be louder to be seen.
In fact, it’s often the opposite.

The more noise you make, the more invisible you become.

Because people can feel when something isn’t coming from you.

When it’s rehearsed. When it’s recycled. When it’s just… not quite landing.

And here’s the thing I always come back to:

Stick to your own lane. That’s where the magic happens.

Take what you’ve learned. Of course!!!

But filter it through your own experience. Your own values. Your own voice.

Make it real. Make it yours.

Because that’s what people connect with.

Not perfection.

Not popularity.

Not who you’re standing next to.

Just you, being clear, grounded, and honest about what you know.

No fluff. No coattails. Just real value.

Things have been a little quieter on here over the past few weeks… and some of that was deliberate.

I’ve been taking a step back and really sitting with how I feel about social media at the moment, especially around some of the behaviours and messaging I’m seeing more and more of.

If I’m honest, a lot of it feels incredibly triggering.

There’s a lot of noise telling you what you should be doing, what you need to fix, and where you’re going wrong… without actually giving you anything solid to work with.

And that doesn’t sit right with me.

Because this space was never meant to make you feel like you’re constantly falling short.

Alongside that, I’ve also had three weeks of ill health that left me in bed and completely out of action. And whilst that wasn’t planned, it did give me the space to do some of the deeper work on the business that needed to be done.

And I’ve come out the other side feeling refreshed, clearer than I have in a long time… so watch this space for what’s coming next.

If you’ve been around me for a while, you’ll know this is something I feel strongly about…

I’m not a fan of cookie-cutter business.

There is no one-size-fits-all.

There never has been.

We all have different lives, different energy levels, different priorities, different definitions of success.

What feels like a huge win for one person might not even touch the sides for someone else… and that’s okay.

Your business is there to support your life.

Not the other way round.

And yet I see so many people trying to force their business into someone else’s template, wondering why it doesn’t feel right, or why it’s not working the way they hoped.

It’s not because you’re doing it wrong.

It’s because it was never designed for you in the first place.

I’ll be back to share more soon… just in a way that feels aligned, grounded and actually useful.

Speak soon 💜 xx

If you’ve lost momentum in your business lately, you’re not the only one.

I’m seeing so many business owners right now who feel stuck, overwhelmed, and unsure what they should even be focusing on anymore.

Too many ideas. Too much noise. No clear path forward.

And the truth is, it’s not because you’re not capable.

It’s because everything has become far more complicated than it needs to be.

You don’t need more tactics. Urgh!

You need clarity.

You need simplicity.

You need a way forward that actually works for you.

If this is where you are, a good old strategy session might just be what you need! DM me and let me know, I will send over the deets.

If you get clear on what path you want to walk, you will be amazed at how your business will click into place. 😉

P.S. Pause today, take a deep breath and just be present! 💜

I bet you don’t have a strategy problem.

Is it a decision speed problem?

When you're already generating revenue, the bottleneck usually isn’t knowledge.

It’s:
• second-guessing positioning
• offers that feel slightly “off”
• slow decisions that stall momentum
• trying to solve strategic questions alone

What works when you're starting out is figuring things out as you go.

That stops working once you’re trying to scale.

At that level, the shift isn’t more courses or more information.

The shift is strategic proximity.

Someone in your corner while decisions are being made.

Someone who can spot revenue leaks quickly.

Refine your offer positioning.

Tighten your ex*****on.

That’s exactly what Gwen In Your Pocket VIP is designed for.

You will get:
• 60-minute private strategy intensive
• 30 days of direct WhatsApp access for strategic decisions
• weekly check-ins to maintain ex*****on speed

This is for established business owners who are already generating revenue and want cleaner positioning, faster decisions and stronger offers.

Not beginners.

Not idea stage.

Just 3 founding places available at £997.

When they’re filled, this closes and the price moves to £1250.

If this feels aligned, comment VIP or message me VIP and I’ll send a short suitability check.

No persuasion.

Only alignment.

Over the past week, life reminded me why I build business the way I do.

My grandson was in hospital.

My focus shifted instantly, as it should.

And do you know what?

The business didn’t collapse.

There were no dramatic consequences.

No scrambling.

No panic.

Because when you build on clarity, simple foundations and aligned lead generation, your business can hold you when life happens.

This is the part people don’t talk about enough.

We’re told to be visible every day.

To stay consistent no matter what.

To never “drop the ball”.

But real life doesn’t work like that.

Especially for business owners who are building businesses around family, health, energy and everything else life brings.

A sustainable business isn’t one that demands you constantly show up at full volume.

It’s one that keeps working, even when you need to step back.

That’s the goal. Not hustle. Not noise. Not proving anything. Just clarity.

Simple systems.

Real foundations.

If your business only works when you’re constantly “on”, it may be time to simplify it.

Because life will always come first. And it should. 💜

Over the last little while, I’ve been making some quiet but intentional changes in my business.

For lots of reasons, which I’ll share another time, I’ve decided to streamline how I work and create a business that doesn’t rely so heavily on social media.

The landscape has changed. And rather than keep pushing against that, it felt time to do something different.

So you might have noticed something new.

I’ve created a brand new free community called The Business Clarity Room.

This is where I’ll be doing all my businessy things, for serious business owners who want to nail the foundations, grow with intention and focus on lead generation that actually works.

It’s a no fluff, no drama, no nonsense space.

And yes, it’s free.

And yes, you get me in there.

Creating this community also gives me the space to step back from parts of social media that simply aren’t serving me right now, while still supporting the people who genuinely want to be in my world.

If you’re serious about your business, and you value clarity, simplicity and doing things properly, I’d love to welcome you inside.

I’ll drop the link below.

Hope to see you in there 💜 xx

Let’s talk about Facebook ads and the difference between data and vanity metrics - because they are not the same thing (even though Meta would love you to think they are).

Yes, cost per lead matters.
Yes, number of sign-ups matters.
No, they do not matter in isolation.

The real question is much simpler (and much less exciting on a dashboard):

What is a client actually worth to you?

Before you run a single ad, you should know:
• how much you’re prepared to spend to acquire the right person
• what that person is worth over time
• and what happens once they enter your ecosystem

For example:
Let’s say your main goal is to grow a £60/month membership.
Most people stay 6–12 months. Some stay for years.
Along the way, some will move into courses, programs, or higher-level support.

So the question isn’t:
“Can I get leads for £1.50?”

It’s:
“How much am I happy to invest to bring the right person into this journey?”

Here’s where I see things go wrong 👇

People chase the cheapest possible leads.

They optimise for low cost.

They use every trick Meta suggests.

And they end up with… a big list of people they don’t understand, and who never buy.

Cheap leads feel good.

They look great in screenshots.

They are often completely useless.

If you doubled your cost per result but attracted people who actually:
• engage
• trust you
• buy
• stay

Your conversion rate would change dramatically.

Your revenue would change dramatically. Your sanity would improve dramatically.

Same spend. Better outcome.

And let’s talk about vanity metrics for a second.

Thousands of people in a challenge group… 25 people engaging.

That doesn’t build trust - it quietly erodes it.

People notice.

They feel it.

And something in them goes, “Hmm… something’s not quite right here.”

Data is about understanding what’s working.

Vanity metrics are about making the numbers look good.

If you’re running ads (or thinking about it), zoom out:

• What is your customer lifetime value?
• What are you nurturing them into?
• What are you actually trying to build?

Growth that converts beats growth that looks impressive - every time.
(And yes, boring maths > pretty dashboards. Always.) 😉

If your ads are set up for cheap leads with no way to optimise and scale - you are missing out big time!

You need to know where your leads are coming from and then you are onto a winner. 💜
