🐴The Coach and Horses🐴 is a pub in Norwich I visited a couple of months ago on a crawl whilst away for a golf weekend. This was one of the first stops and provides a great start!

Quality/Range: Very strong selection of drinks across all categories, with also some decent bar snacks on offer as well. This is a proper place for people who love ale and it seems they are partnered closely with Chalk Hill Brewery. They also have some great options for takeaways pictured.

Location/Decor - More on the outskirts of town, but still within walking distance of the centre, the location is a good one, allowing for a busy atmosphere but not absolutely crammed! Lots of benches outside and inside a very classic wood panelling in places with also some very rouge walls. Worth mentioning there is a great darts area with Polaroids of all people who have hit a 180 on the board.

Character/Atmosphere - Visited early on a Saturday evening and the place was very busy, especially in the garden with lots of young groups, couples and families. Inside it has a nice ambience and definitely somewhere you would be happy when the weather is not quite as good.

Overall Pub Rating - 7/10 - Worth visiting if you are in the area and passing, especially if you are including it as part of a crawl like we did. Decent inside area with darts and a big open outside area to the front of the pub would be a good spot for a sunny afternoon.

Ye Olde Mitre, often described as one of the hardest pubs to find in London, is a traditional London pub dating from 1546 and I would have thought one of the most recognisable establishments in the City.

Quality/Range: This is a Fuller’s pub so there is always going to be a strong selection which was certainly the case. Lots of household names including Amstel, Guinness, Asahi, Peroni etc. and then also some guest ales which look like they change on a regular basis. Good selection of wines and spirits as well! We didn’t eat but I did want to mention the food / bar snacks which looked great!

Location/Decor - Very close to Hatton Garden and easily accessible from either Holborn or Farringdon, it’s actually locating the alleyway the pub is situated in which can become a bit of an adventure - nonetheless this all adds to the character and allure! The Decor inside is very traditional with dark panelling, stools and carpeted floors! The alley way is beautifully decorated with fairy lights and flowers which also gives the pub a great look from the outside!

Character/Atmosphere - The atmosphere was great and when we arrived every single table inside and out was occupied which is always a great sign, especially for a Tuesday or though as the night went on it quietened down! There was also a great mix of locals and also tourists which definitely adds a certain dynamic! The character of the pub is great inside and I love how there is a centre bar with two separate sides which seem to cater to both sides of a night out (loud and fun and quiet and relaxed respectively)

Overall Pub Rating - 9/10 - Been meaning to visit Ye Olde Mitre for a while now and after having an evening there I a can really see what all the fuss is about and would recommend visiting this place if you can! There are also several other very traditional pubs (notably Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese) nearby in case you wanted to tick a few off together!

The Green Man is a semi-countriside pub located in Sandridge near St Albans.

Quality/Range - Good range of draughts avaliable, went with a mixture of amstell and carlsberg. Have to also give a shout out to the pizzas they were amazing and could not recommend higher.

Location/Decor - Nice countryside location and love the fact the outside marquee and tables are surrounded by fields. The decor is very nice inside and I love the central bar which I always think is a good touch. The marquee outside is very well done and the benches are all very new and fresh looking.

Character/Atmosphere - Staff are amazing and super friendly and service was very prompt which you don't see a lot now days with the app ordering at most places. Atmosphere was decent enough!

Value for money - Good value for money and if I remeber correctly the pints were roughly about £4.80.

Overall Pub Rating - 8/10 - Fantastic staff and a lovely setting make the Green Man defo worth a visit. Really impressed by the outside setup and the organisation of the place. This would be perfect on a Sunday after a walk to have a pizza and a few pints.

P.S - Enjoy a video of some Irish car bombs being consumed.

is a pub/bar located partially underneath the south side of Tower Bridge. The beer garden is to the side of it.

Quality/Range - Great range if draughts with all the usuals up for grabs. They also do some interesting bottles and I have had a leffe a few times to see the nights off. Also do a good selection of wines and standard selection of spirits.

Location/Decor - Incredible location right underneath Tower Bridge. The beer garden is smallish but has amazing views. The decor inside is traditional with low archways you have to duck under for the toilet but we'll finished off.

Character/Atmosphere - Staff are lovely and always so friendly and smiling. The place is usually buzzing as it is right in the centre of a busy tourist spot, this makes for a great atmosphere. I have always bought a lot of pints from the vault and just stood outside on the grassy area.

Value for money - Slightly expensive with pints between £6-£6.50 however it is central London so understandable.

Overall Pub Rating - 8.5/10 - Smallish pub with a good range and brilliant staff. But the big selling feature of this place is the surroundings. I would love to hear comments as to if you have been to a better beer garden, because with the spectacular views I can't say I have been to a better one. It must be good because I have been here so many times since I started my new job 5 weeks ago I should buy shares in the place

The C**k Inn at Sarratt is a traditional English pub located on the outskirts or Sarratt Village.

Quality/Range - Slightly limited range with only 3 largers on tap. I am not sure whether that is because of covid or not but either way I went for a Moretti. Seemed to be an average selection on wines and spirits.

Location/Decor - Location is between chorleywood and sarratt which makes it easy enough to get to. Decor is amazing inside and everything I love about a traditional English pub. Open fires, carpets and traditional paintings. Only thing I would say is some of the benches outside looked a bit tired but it's been a difficult year for everyone so that is just more of a recommendation then a complaint.

Character/Atmosphere - Staff were friendly enough and the outside area looks great especially with the tepee they have erected. The character inside is a lovely traditional village pub and one thing I love about the atmosphere of the C**k Inn is because it is on a major walking route you always see ramblers and plenty of dogs which is cool.

Value for money - Pints were roughly about £5 which is fair enough. One thing I didn't understand however is why you have to go to the hatch to order but then a waitress has to bring your drinks. Seems a waisted exercise. I know it has to be table service with current rules but would be much easier to order from the table aswell ??

Overall Pub Rating - 7/10 - I like The C**k Inn and it encompasses a lot of the things I love about traditional pubs and is great to stop on a walk or a quick drink in the country but if you are in a rush there are in my opinion better places close by.

The Beech House is a large bar/pub in St Albans Highstreet.

Quality/Range - Very large selection of drinks to choose from, with categories split into beers/wines/spirits/cocktails and other sections like bubbles and craft beers. There is really something for everyone.

Location/Decor - Great location right at the centre of St Albans highstreet makes it super convenient. The decor is classy and has a very open feel to it. Multiple different seating areas with more of a restaurant vibe in the middle.

Character/Atmosphere - Staff were friendly enough and the service was very prompt. The atmosphere was decent enough but nothing special. The Beech Houwe is super big so unless really packed it would be hard to get a buzzing atmosphere. That being said I understand in the evenings it turns into a bar which would probably be a different story.

Value for money - Pints were between £4.50 - £5.00 which makes this very good value considering location and competition.

Overall Pub Rating - 7/10 - Staff were nice and I enjoyed The Beech House and would say to pay it a visit if who have the time. However it really just is your classic bar and if you are in St Albans and are pushed for time there are other places I would pick instead.

Is that a Davinci painting...? No it's the boys in The Dickens Inn

is a large traditional English oub located in St Katherine's Dock in the city of London.

Quality/Range - One of the largest sections of drinks I have ever seen at a pub including extensive wine and spirits selections. One really unique factor is the fact they do steins which not a lot of places serve.

Location/Decor - Location could not be better! Right in the centre of St Katherine's Dock the Dickens Inn is perfectly placed and easy to get to. The decor is that of a traditional London boozer but very nicely finished off. The outside areas are nice and the floral displays on the front is one of the most notable features.

Character/Atmosphere - The staff were very friendly and attentive and I was amazed at the speed of service with how busy it was. The character of the place is nice and the atmosphere was fantastic, especially with the sun out.

Value for money - Amstel Stein was just under £10 which I was amazed at the value for money. Less then £5 in central London is unheard of.

Overall Pub Rating - 10/10 - I have been here a few times and it's always exceptional and yesterday was no different. Good prices, great service and amazing location make this one of the best London pubs about and honestly for day drinking wise almost unbeatable in my eyes.

And also Happy birthday Dan

O'connells is an Irish pub in Val thorens, which whilst skiing we became obsessed with, and visited daily.

Quality/Range - Decent selection of draught options, with a special shout out to what is considered the Highest pint of Guinness avaliable in the world. Also a very good bsck wall selection of spirits.

Location/Decor - Awesome location right in thr centre of Val Thorens which makes a huge difference to passing trade. Inside it is authentically decorated with booth style seating aswell as an expansive bar and classic signs and memorabilia.

Character/Atmosphere - The staff especially tom who is the tall gentleman with the moustache in this photo were amazing and a key reason we returned every day. Moreover the atmosphere was just amazing and packed every single evening and night with people looking for classic Irish pub.

Value for money - Average value for a ski resort, which is always going to be one of the more expensive pints. This however did not deter our group each evening.

Overall Pub Rating - 10/10 - How can I not give this place a 10 when were frequented it 7 nights on the bounce. Amazing staff and atmosphere every time and would be the very first apres scene I will be visiting as soon as we are able to get back to VT.

is a oldie traditional pub on Sarratt Green in Hertfordshire.

Quality/Range - Decent selection of draughts avaliable on tap. I believe i went for an Estrella. They also have a comprehensive wine selection and also spirits.

Location/Decor - Located right on Sarratt Green you may not necessarily pass by it, however it is definitely not too far out of the way from Rickmansworth or Chorleywood. The Decor is fantastic and has a definite traditional and rustic feel. The boot really is a traditional village pub.

Character/Atmosphere - The staff and particularly the owners of the boot are lovely. One thing to mention is the management of the boot have repeatedly been ahead of the game and constantly adapted to the covid rules, running a takeaway window and adapted menu aswell as also being a constant presence on social media. The atmosphere is always friendly and warm, however have never been here on a weekend or Friday evening. I reckon it would be a good laugh.

Value for money - Roughly £5 a pint and the food is also reasonable value and very enjoyable. All respectful prices for the area.

Overall Pub Rating - 8.5/10 - Really enjoyed my visits to the boot and the way the pub has adapted around covid has been the best example I can think of. Not necessarily one you may stumble across but 100% worth a visit and Sarratt in general. The boot is the best pub in Sarratt for sure.

Hey guys. I thought i would share my experience visiting the Thermal Beer Spa in Budapest.

Whilst visiting Budapest with my cousin we decided (after I saw on the internet) to visit the Thermal Beer Spa located within the Széchenyi Spa.

The idea is that you are bathing in the ingredients of beer, so it starts with a wooden tub or warm mineral water and then once you are in the raw ingredients are added.

You spend an hour inside the bath and located in the middle is a draught pump and it is ALL YOU CAN DRINK within the time.

Throughly enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it. Feel nice and relaxed after coming out and the staff are super friendly and attentive.

Would also throughly recommend combining it with the Széchenyi Spa experience aswell afterwards, which is what we did.

is a pub on Fore Street in St Ives almost in the very centre of town.

Quality/Range - Fantastic selection of pints on offer, with a great mixture of the household names aswell as some locals. I went for a few old Rosie's and also tried a new one called Rosie's pig which i wasnt a huge fan of but nice enough.

Location/Decor - Brilliant location right near the centre of town which makes it very accessible. Also the decor is fabulous, a slight nautical theme but just a great old pub with low ceilings and wooden beams and the stained glass front is amazing.

Character/Atmosphere - Now this is what SETS THIS PLACE APART. The character is amazing with a proper welcoming and friendly feel. All of the locals were brilliant and chatted with us and recommended things to do and places to go. However the staff are just The Castle Inns greatest asset. We had a bar tender who was fantastic and it was like a stand up routine at the same time and all his jokes and whims were genuinly very funny. I forget what his name is but is a tall gentleman with a large beard and if the guys at the pub ever see this please let him know he is one of the greatest and most memorable people I have ever ever met in a pub.

Value for money - We had a few pints in here and they were I think roughly about £5, which is again a steady price for St Ives.

Overall Pub Rating - 10/10 - Nothing I would really fault about this place. Everything I love and think wre the best things about a boozer are encompassed here. I can't wait to get back down to St Ives and I guarantee visiting the Castle Inn will be one of the very first things I do.

The Golden Lion is a pub on Market Pl in the centre of St Ives Cornwall.

Quality/Range - Adequate selection of beers on tap and seen to have a decent selection of ales ciders shorts and wines aswell.

Location/Decor - Great location in the centre of St Ives which makes it very accessible and one many people would pass. The decor is traditional and like the fact they have kept the original 2 bars in the same pub. Ome at the front and one at the back.

Character/Atmosphere - Staff were friendly and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was quite quiet, however can imagine this place would be buzzing when sport is on because there are a lot of screens around the pub.

Value for money - Went for a rattler to keep it traditional and was under £5 as I recall which I felt was a good price. Especially as St Ives is the same as London prices.

Overall Pub Rating - 6/10 - The Golden Lion is a nice enough pub and I love the two bars and the outside area at the back. Traditional decor with a hit of modernity makes it a place to pop in for one if you have the time, however if you are pushed for time there are better pubs in St Ives
