We are a family run business that has been supplying and installing white goods for the local community since 1974.
Now is an exciting time to join the Albany Appliance Centre. With more consumers focusing on shopping locally we are now expanding our delivery services.
We are currently looking for a Delivery Service Assistant to join our fantastic team based in Rickmansworth.

Key Responsibilities:
-Maintaining timely communication by phone when on route to destination.
-Map read and / or satellite navigation and provide clear instructions for the driver to locate customers` properties using the best route
-Providing exceptional customer service, by building a rapport and effectively dealing with any customer queries
-Heavy lifting of products to the customer`s room of choice. This includes washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, freezers, tumble dryers and more with the support of a Delivery Assistant.
-Assisting with vehicle checks and cleanliness of vehicle
-Excellent customer interaction skills
-Good work ethic, trustworthy, respectful, conscientious and a good team player
-Have a good knowledge of the local area

4 days
32 hours a week

Monday – Friday 9am – 1pm

We are currently looking for a retail sales assistant to work in our appliance store located in Rickmansworth.
The successful candidate will be working as part of the sales team to assist in the day-to-day operations of the store.

Responsibilities:

Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Delivering all round excellent customer service and ensuring customers have a great shopping experience
Answering queries from customers in store, via phone, email, and live chat
Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
Working within established guidelines
Sales Order Processing
Purchase orders
Processing Payments
Processing inbound delivery of any stock
Achieving/exceeding instore and over the phone KPI’S/Targets put in place by upselling and cross selling.
What skills do I need?

Having a friendly and engaging personality
Comfortable working with members of the public
Confident Manner
Excellent Telephone Manner
Helpful and polite
Comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e., retail, fast moving consumer goods, appliances etc
Knowledge of inventory techniques
Sales experience is essential for this role
Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft office
Some experience of using epos/till systems would be an advantage.

Working hours:

20 hours a week
9am – 1pm Monday to Friday

We are also looking for a Domestic Appliance Installer to join our team at the Albany Appliance Centre in Rickmansworth. You will be required to deliver and install freestanding and built in appliances in Watford and surrounding areas.

Salary £24,000 full time Monday to Friday

Driving Licence required.
