Chores & Challenges will be at Vision Zone in Farnham on Tuesday 29th September 2026!

Vision Zone is a fantastic opportunity to explore support services, assistive technology, community groups to support people living with low vision or sight loss. A wide range of organisations and charities will be at the event offering information, advice, and hands-on experiences with helpful equipment and technology.

Chores & Challenges is passionate about supporting independence in everyday life, working alongside individuals to help with daily tasks and routines.

We're at Vision Zone in Farnham in just 2 weeks!

Simply drop in and join us at this FREE, accessible event to help people with their sight loss.

Individuals, families and professionals, everyone's welcome. Discover new technology, connect with leading charities, and get hands-on advice from experts:

It was great to share some fantastic milestones with our yesterday at the Hatha Helper Hook-Up.

We are now supporting 150 clients with their chores and challenges across a swathe of Mid-Surrey 💪

A great day with our Hatha Helper community! 💛

Yesterday we brought our Chores & Challenges Hatha Helpers together for a late summer get-together at the West Clandon Royal British Legion Club - and the weather was kind to us! 😊

It was a lovely chance to catch up, enjoy some fantastic food and spend some time together.

We also took a moment to reflect on a brilliant year so far and share some of the fantastic milestones we’ve achieved together:
🎉 150 clients
🤝 40 Hatha Helpers
📈 168% year-on-year revenue growth

We talked about what's ahead too, including an introduction to Hathaway, our new app, and ideas for helping our Hatha Helpers become better known and more connected within their local communities.

But mostly, it was about good food, good company and building our Hatha community 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and contributed to such a wonderful spread. It was great to have so many of our Hatha Helpers together - and a lovely way to celebrate everything we've achieved so far.

Have you seen a QR code at a parking machine? Scam QR codes are on the rise; here are 3 ways to protect yourself from scams at parking machines.

1️⃣Feel for a sticker. Run your finger over the QR code. Fake stickers often have a raised edge over the original surface.

2️⃣Check the URL. Look closely at the web address before entering data to ensure it matches the official domain.

3️⃣Download an app. Instead of scanning codes on meters, download official parking apps to your mobile phone.

It's an all too rare chance to catch up with one another, enjoy some good food and, most importantly, celebrate what we've achieved together 👏👏👏
