Proud to have been part of the The Turing Way Practitioners Hub Final Showcase on 10 March in London!

As Experts-in-Residence (EiRs), this journey has been a truly enriching experience. Throughout the programme, we had the opportunity to engage in thematic discussions with fellow EiRs, participate in AI/ML challenge clinics, join sector-based networking sessions and contribute to organisational case study development
We closely collaborated with the BridgeAI team, advisors, and domain experts, while receiving valuable support in integrating open source, open data, cross-sector collaboration, research reproducibility, and ethical approaches into our projects and strategies.
These experiences have helped strengthen our work in consulting, education, training, and skills development in Kent & Medway, enhancing the quality, viability, and real-world impact of data science and AI technologies.

Grateful for the learning, collaboration, and inspiring conversations throughout this journey. Looking forward to continuing this work and building stronger bridges between research, innovation, and real-world applications.

As part of our AI4ALL project with Medway Council, Emanations was delighted to take part in the careers fair at The Howard School.
We spoke directly to students about artificial intelligence — not as something distant or complex, but as a real, accessible career pathway open to them. Their curiosity, thoughtful questions, and fresh ideas were truly inspiring.

When schools, councils, and industry work together, we help young people feel confident, informed, and excited about their future.
The future of AI is not somewhere else — it’s right here in our community. Isn’t it?

These moments are from three sessions delivered at Brompton Academy in October, focused on the responsible use of Generative AI in academic research and report writing.

The sessions explored how students can use AI as a supporting tool—to research smarter, structure ideas better, and improve clarity—while still maintaining academic integrity, critical thinking, and originality.

Our aim was not to teach students what to copy, but how to think, question, and use AI responsibly in their academic work.
