Part 2 Scaffolder
Location: Ross-on-Wye
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, [07:00-16:00]
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Part 2 Scaffolder to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will have solid scaffolding experience, a good understanding of safe working practices and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You will be working across a range of domestic, commercial and/or industrial projects, helping to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Erecting, altering and dismantling scaffolding in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
* Working safely at height and following all site safety requirements.
* Working from drawings, instructions and specifications where required.
* Ensuring scaffolding is erected securely and to the required standard.
* Carrying out regular checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns.
* Working alongside Part 1 and Advanced Scaffolders to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
* Looking after company equipment, tools and vehicles.
* Representing the company professionally when working on customer sites.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* A qualified Part 2 Scaffolder with relevant industry experience.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
* Safety-conscious with a good understanding of scaffolding regulations and safe systems of work.
* Comfortable working at height and in all weather conditions.
* Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work.
* Able to work well as part of a team.
* Professional and respectful towards customers, colleagues and other trades.
* Able to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
* Willing to travel to different sites as required.
Essential Requirements
* Part 2 Scaffolder qualification / CISRS card.
* Relevant scaffolding experience.
* Good knowledge of health & safety requirements.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Good standard of workmanship.
Full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
