𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗖𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 £𝟭𝟱𝗺 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - Work has been completed on the £15 million transformation of the Lagoons at Doncaster Dome, marking a major milestone in the regeneration of the historic leisure destination. The Lagoons, a multi-pool water complex featuring seven interconnected pools, flumes and an outdoor rapid river, have undergone an extensive redevelopment designed to modernise one of the Dome’s most popular attractions while retaining the character of the Grade II listed building. Improvements include two new racer slides and a new indoor splash play area featuring a range of interactive water features, enhancing the experience for families and visitors. Significant infrastructure upgrades have also been completed, including the replacement of glazing, a redesigned main entrance and the installation of new heating and ventilation systems to improve water and air quality throughout the swimming pool environment. 𝗔 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 & 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹 - The Highlight Active Wellbeing Hub is a major new leisure, health and community facility on The Waterfront at Hartlepool Marina. It has been developed by Hartlepool Borough Council to replace the ageing Mill House Leisure Centre, which dated from 1972. Construction started in early 2024, with Wates as principal contractor and GT3 Architects responsible for the design. Prospec leisure centre products form part of the project. The facility includes:

• 25m eight-lane main swimming pool
• 25m four-lane learner pool, with a movable floor
• Leisure pool with a race slide and interactive water-play features
• 100-station gym
• Two interconnected fitness studios
• Dedicated indoor cycling/spinning studio
• Active and soft-play areas
• Party/function and meeting spaces
• Café overlooking the marina
• External terraces
• Changing facilities and links
• Parking and EV charging facilities.

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 & 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - The new Spalding Leisure Centre project is progressing well, with significant progress made across the site in recent weeks. Current work includes testing the two swimming pools and internal modifications such as installing new structural steelwork and walls to accommodate additional activity areas. The South Holland Health and Wellbeing Hub project is a £28.3 million redevelopment of the former Castle Sports Complex in Spalding, Lincolnshire. Backed by £20 million in UK Government Levelling Up funding and council investment, the new facility has been named the Castle Activity and Fitness Centre and is scheduled to open in early 2027. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 & 𝗖𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 - A much loved community leisure centre for the future has been delivered on behalf of Bromley Council through the UK Leisure Framework, which is owned and managed by Denbighshire Leisure. The £17 million transformation of Walnuts Leisure Centre has created a modern community asset that will support healthier lifestyles and social connection for generations to come. The exciting upgrades include:

• A new competition-length swimming pool, training pool and splash wall
• An expanded two-storey gym with a functional training area and EGYM

A really insightful couple of days attending the IAKS UK & Ireland conference 2026 - Prospec attended the IAKS Glasgow International Arena conference which also provided an insight into how the city has built on the legacy of successfully hosting the 2014 Commonwealth Games to prepare for the upcoming 2026 Games.
