On behalf of Lorraine and myself, we have some exciting news to share.

From Wednesday, April 22, our fortnightly face-to-face networking meeting will be moving to a fantastic new venue:

The Water’s Edge at Ruislip Lido

This new location brings some brilliant benefits:

✔️ Free parking for up to 3 hours
✔️ A spacious setting – no more squeezing in
✔️ Roller banners welcome
✔️ A proper hot buffet breakfast (yes, actually hot 😄)
✔️ Unlimited tea and filter coffee
✔️ Vegetarian and other options available
✔️ The H13 bus stops right outside

Our meeting time remains exactly the same – 10am to midday.

Bookings will be opening very shortly, and I’ll share the link as soon as it’s live.

This move gives us the opportunity to grow our group in a much more comfortable and business-friendly environment.

Lorraine and I are really looking forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new visitors, and continuing to support each other’s businesses.

That's what Lisa does... she drinks coffee and looks at websites!!

On behalf of the team and members here at Hatch End - 4N Business Networking, we would like to send our congratulations and sincere good wishes to Leonora Curry and Joyce Levitt, who this week have taken over as Group Leader at Money Matters and Business Without Borders.

Not only are the excellent 4N - Business Networking members, but they both smashed their first meetings as GL right out of the park and into earth orbit for all to see!

Here’s wishing you both many years of continued success.

We all need a laugh every day, so this will definitely tickle your chuckle muscles. 🤣

A client of mine recently went to Beijing and was given this brochure by the hotel. It is absolutely precious.

She is keeping it and reading it whenever she has a “bad” day.

Obviously, it has been translated directly, word for word from Mandarin to English.

Getting There:

Our representative will make you wait at the airport. The bus to the hotel runs along the lake shore. Soon you will feel pleasure in passing water. You will know that you are getting near the hotel, because you will go round the bend.

The manager will await you in the entrance hall. He always tries to have in*******se with all new guests.

The Hotel: 🏨

This is a family hotel, so children are very welcome. We of course are always pleased to accept adultery. Highly skilled nurses are available in the evenings to put down your children.

Guests are invited to conjugate in the bar and expose themselves to others. But please note that ladies are not allowed to have babies in the bar. We organize social games, so no guest is ever left alone to play with them self.

The Restaurant 🥘

Our menus have been carefully chosen to be ordinary and unexciting. At dinner, our quartet will circulate from table to table, and fiddle with you.

Your Room 🛏️

Every room has excellent facilities for your private parts. In winter, every room is on heat. Each room has a balcony offering views of outstanding obscenity! ..

You will not be disturbed by traffic noise, since the road between the hotel and the lake is used only by pederasts.

Bed: 🛌

Your bed has been made in accordance with local tradition. If you have any other ideas please ring for the chambermaid.

Please take advantage of her. She will be very pleased to squash your shirts, blouses and underwear. If asked, she will also squeeze your trousers.

Above All:

When you leave us at the end of your holiday, you will have no hope. You will struggle to forget it.

Ever wondered what that mysterious line near the end of your towel is for?

No, it’s not a “face one side, bum the other” marker… although let’s be honest, it’s probably saved a few arguments over the years!

That line is actually called a dobby border (sounds rather fancy, doesn’t it?). It’s there to stop your towel from fraying, helps it absorb better, and keeps the whole thing in shape – like a little superhero woven into your bath linen.

Bonus points: it also makes folding easier and gives your towel that stylish hotel look, even if you’re just draping it over the bathroom door.

Therefore, the next time you’re drying off, give a nod to the dobby. It’s doing more than you think.

4N Neuro-Inclusive Networking

Today I joined the 4N Neuro-Inclusive online meeting – a supportive space where independent professionals connect and grow, with no judgement and no pressure.

Each of us has 40 seconds to introduce our business and explain the type of customers we’d like to connect with. After that, we hear a 4Sight – a personal insight or story from one of the members. It’s always about them, never a sales pitch. A refreshing approach that encourages real connection.
